You are 100 % fantastic explanation you have done better than here the way the have taught us. It is clear and nice 👍 much easier than what I have learnt. Thank you.
I am really into it I came from the Philippines and learned English here🎉and I thought I know so much but not really, there's a lot to learn every day it is hard to learn it over night patience and interest count.

Hi. In the sentence "He is not normally a very fast runner, but he runs fast in major events". What parts of speech are applicable to "Very". When we consider it as a modifier of "fast", it is an adverb. But when we consider it as a modifier of " Fast runner", then it becomes an adjective. So what's the right answer?
In the sentence you provided, "very" functions as an adverb. It modifies the adjective "fast" to indicate the degree of speed. When considering "fast runner," "very" doesn't modify "fast runner" directly; instead, it specifically modifies "fast." So, regardless of the context, "very" is consistently an adverb in this case. It enhances the meaning of "fast" rather than modifying "runner" or the phrase as a whole.
Did you replace the beloved participle for the fashionable adjective. But the adjective doesn't deserve the position of being in the eight parts of speech as it is essentially an adverb i.e. a added word( verbum originally meant word). Let's make a name and put both adjective and adverb under it, and reintroduce the partic.
In the sentence "He visited Italy last week", the parts of speech are as follows: He - Pronoun (subject pronoun; refers to a person performing the action). visited - Verb (past tense; action performed by the subject). Italy - Noun (proper noun; name of a specific place). last - Adjective (modifies "week"; indicates which week is being referred to). week - Noun (common noun; refers to a period of seven days).

your lecture was very interesting and remarkable would let me know the noun ocean refers to what? Thank you for your time.
Words like Ocean, River etc are referred to as pronominal because they are categorised under the living creature more so a place.
Thank you so much👏🏻❤️
You're welcome!
Very usefully very important very nice very thanks ❤❤❤
Most welcome 😊
There are two more parts of speech: The article (a, the) and The numeral (cardinal and ordinal numbers).
Agree "an" too function of these articles in poetry is extremely important.
I think this two are adjectives
They are just qualifiers or articles and not really part of speech.
❤juts tank you
