I have one "Split leaf philodendron" from Lowe's a couple of years ago, it looks like MD, it also has some split leaves but the size of leaves are small. The biggest one is about 7 inches. Mine is very similar to yours in this video but mine is over 3 years. My question is MD and Split leaf philodendron are the same or different? Some people say those are the same, others say they aren't. If same, how can I make the leaves bigger and real Swiss cheese shape?
Monstera is commonly called split leaf philodendron, but split leaf philodendrons have very different looking leaves, so you probably have a Monstera. For larger leaves and splits, try putting it in higher light, mine was in a north window, putting out small leaves with no splits. I moved it to an eastern window for two weeks while I was on vacation, then BOOM. 2 foot leaf with almost 8 splits! I think that if its mature enough, light does wonders for a monstera.
Mine is stuck and it’s driving me crazy 🙄😭 Grams and me bought one each one as babies around April this year. My grams monstera is growing a lot and mine is just stuck! I don’t understand. My grams is forgetful about hers and its even outside in the balcony and mine is actually next to me in a southwest window so I can see her grow. I give it the light and so on but nothing. She is just alive that’s it. Today I moved it outside where the other one is. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️😥
I have this plant I love it it’s growing beautiful ❤️
Thank you for sharing your expertise! I just got one for the first time, and I hope I can take good care of it!
Good suggestion to check whether the plant is root bound! Great video.
Wow I have one of those. Thanks for sharing. Happy new year. New friend.
Wow this is great! I want one, it's such a beautiful plant.
How come it will not do well in a north facing window? Love your videos by the way!
Just not quite enough light for the monsters to really thrive like it wants to

@@bariton3779 Thank you for answer!!
Do keep us update about the plant
Nice tips. One small critique. Fenestration is pronounced fen-uh-stray-shun.
