I've never been so wrong. My perfectionism kicked in and I spent like 10 hours on this piece... 35 different sounds later, here it is ! My interpretation of a black market ambience... where you can buy strange beasts from around the world, find terrible poisons, write your name on dubious contracts and look for old forgotten knowledge.

I do have another idea... But now Im gonna feel like a needy fan lol. I have in my game something call "the whispering mist". A heavy, magical fog. I had the idea of it been a horror ambience, where you can hear a subtle whisper coming from behind you, saying secret in one ear and then switching to the other. All the while you can hear thr sound of monster from far away, like a clicking (like the zombies from last of us). Of course it's just a proposition, you already made something for me in a single day.
"You don't touch anything, you don't buy anything, you dont speak to anyone and you don't look at anyone." She said sternly. "If someone speaks to you keep walking and ignore them. Our goal is to get in, I get the poision and we get the hell out. Got it?" The three nodded. "Masks on." Pulling the masks over their faces only revealing their eyes and made their way down the dim light stairwell.

You are welcome bro ;) I found the theme very interesting to work on, I just didn't expect to spend an entire day on it haha, but this song will be used as a base for other songs to come (demonic temple, alchemy room, etc.) so it will be very useful. Are you pleased with it btw ? Is it like you imagined ?

It's really good but now im afraid this black market will ask my soul in payment! But it's just a constructive comment! It's still the best black market ever

Please never hesitate to share a critic, I always take it good :) About the whispers, that's where I spent most of the time working, because that's extremely hard to find good free of rights whispers on internet. It has to be unintelligible, but when it's too quiet or when there's too few whispers you start understanding the words :s EDIT : I find the stepping sounds way too loud. I will reupload a redux version I think, I'm not satisfied.

But if you imagine the market like on the picture, it is underground or at least in a surrounding where sounds echo a lot and as such I don't think the stepping sounds are too loud

We record our data in our wax tablets in our coded language and seek to go after the most influential dealers, whom we later interrogate seperately. They are usually too intelligent for hypnosis to work on them; so we proceed with caution and extract data from their underlings. We disguise ourselves in case our transfigurations fail. We are also cautious to not ask too many questions about sensitive data in order to evade suspicion. It is also likely that some of the authorities are working with them.
