    Spectacularly useful, especially your run-through of how your structured your day and your video of your tracker. Thank you, thank you.

    I'm watching all your videos! I might need to join a boot camp. I have been doing self study for like 8 months now but I feel like the process is going too slowly.

      That's awesome you're self studying!! I found the self study process slow too, and I would feel so unmotivated if I got stuck and didn't have someone to turn to to ask questions. Good luck with whatever path you take, bootcamps are great if you make the most out of them!

      @@EmilyDowgialo Thanks. Yeah, I do have a couple of friends to help but it's not like paying people to help.

    Hated job interviews. 😂 To go for interviews and keep getting rejected. Early 2020 was tough for me to lose my job. Have to find a job. Lucky for me the market pick up and was able to live off my investments.

    Awesome video. I’m not looking to get into tech but I am trying to get into a different industry than the one I’m currently in and it has been hard. But I’m not going to give up.

    I've helped some of my interns get jobs after bootcamp. One of them had been looking for 2 years, I helped him get a job in 2 weeks. Do you think this service would be helpful for bootcamp graduates?

    Do you mind sharing what your former background was before you went to coding boot camp? I have a very non tech degree and background and am trying to decide if it’s worth it for me to transition. Would you consider doing a video on what type of salary journey to expect? I make decent money in my job now but am looking to transition to a new job because I’m burnt out. I heard tech salaries can grow quickly so I would be ok with a small salary cut in the beginning.

    • @EmilyDowgialo
      @EmilyDowgialo  3 роки тому +3

      Yes of course! I also had a very non tech degree. I have a degree in psychology and I was working a support job and worked as a nanny on the side to earn more money. I do plan on making a video about salary journeys in tech! Salaries can grow quickly so even if you start out with an entry salary you’ll see it increase over time if you’re patient and keep working hard. Thank you so much for watching my video!

    What is your field/ domain of expertise in IT. I was considering cybersecurity considering my healthcare background as a nurse practitioner.

    • @EmilyDowgialo

      My first job out of the bootcamp was a support engineer at a saas company! I had a few classmates who went into cybersecurity right after we graduated. They had to pass a test at a particular cybersecurity company during the interview process and they told me it required a lot of studying but they were all eventually able to successfully pass
