Pretty cool! I started the free Harvard CS, but what is the amount of space is needed to be able to work on projects? Like the best type in lab top or desk computer?
Minimum is 8 gb ram and atleast 250 -500 gb hard drive. Ideally you want as much hard drive space as possible to store projects although there are now cloud options available. So about 8-16gb ram and your hard drive should be 500gb or 1TB for more space. You can always buy external hard drives when you run out of space or store your files in the cloud so make sure your ram is 8-16gb at least
I am currently a self taught dev and i actually disagree with her on foregoing self-taught. It is a much harder route requiring tremendous self motivation but is more align with a programmer's life.

Look into Per Scholas. It's in the Bronx and Brooklyn and it's free. You just have to get accepted. My cousin did it and he got a job after. It's a great opportunity. Best of luck!
you better finish that finance whilst learning programming and get into finance technology ....
Pressure Makes Diamonds 💎
Very inspiring
I’m in Revature lol it’s looking pretty tough but it’s worth it given how easy it is to get in. I kind of regret not getting into CS any sooner because most thing I’m learning is based on computer science.
How was your Revature experience?
Such a sweet girl !
Amazing you bold enough to hand your resume away on the streets. Inspiring !
You need to get it!!!
I was inspired to code from 3 amazing black women. Maya, Bukola and Jhilene. Thank you all. I’m one month in and would love to share my projects with you all.
This is so sweet thank you! ❤
awesome
So inspiring! I'm in my second year of programming education, wondering if I'll ever be good enough to be hired.
Loved it!
So glad!
FDM is big in london as well - worked with lots of them at the banks
Pretty cool! I started the free Harvard CS, but what is the amount of space is needed to be able to work on projects? Like the best type in lab top or desk computer?
Minimum is 8 gb ram and atleast 250 -500 gb hard drive. Ideally you want as much hard drive space as possible to store projects although there are now cloud options available. So about 8-16gb ram and your hard drive should be 500gb or 1TB for more space. You can always buy external hard drives when you run out of space or store your files in the cloud so make sure your ram is 8-16gb at least
Great story, very inspiring, i will take the similar path
Thank you for this VERY helpful :)
I love this video
great video i got hired at IBM and i only make 45k in this industry its all about location
I am currently a self taught dev and i actually disagree with her on foregoing self-taught. It is a much harder route requiring tremendous self motivation but is more align with a programmer's life.
She's beautiful 😮
Good show!! Apprenticeships are available.. Thanks
Inspiring!!!!
