37:39 I can relate to that. Not sure if it is still going on (given Covid and forced vaccination of healthcare workers) but, during my childhood, black families were hell-bent on their children going to medical school. I wished I had the courage to say "no" sooner than I did - would have saved a lot of money, too 🤦🏾.
This is so incredibly helpful and valuable to not only inspire but provide real useful advice for anyone trying to find how to transition to a career in programming, without having a CS background. Thank you so much for creating this video, and to both Bukola and Jhilene for sharing their own learning experiences and amazingly helpful roadmaps for others! @@innocentmadanhire2391 I think the biggest thing is learning the fundamentals and start building from there. Pretty cool! I started the free Harvard CS, but what is the amount of space is needed to be able to work on projects? Like the best type in lab top or desk computer?
Minimum is 8 gb ram and atleast 250 -500 gb hard drive. Ideally you want as much hard drive space as possible to store projects although there are now cloud options available. So about 8-16gb ram and your hard drive should be 500gb or 1TB for more space. You can always buy external hard drives when you run out of space or store your files in the cloud so make sure your ram is 8-16gb at least
