Someone else asked this- can i program different colors to display on same strand at same time and stay that way? So blue for 2’, yellow for 1’ then back to blue.. without fancy effects or color chasing etc??
I didn't see an option to do stationary lighting with segmented colors. I just completed my install and created a new video with the whole install. ua-cam.com/video/QYHxdL84C-c/v-deo.htmlsi=4EuRoITMg0JNW_1G I also ordered a new controller from AliExpress that should come in a few weeks that I'm hoping will allow me to do that, I'll find out when it comes.
Yes it can do warm white by selecting the RGB numbers similar to warm white but there is no actual warm light, just the cool white. Not sure about the power supply requirements, try emailing customer service.
I plan on hooking this up to a wall outlet that is connected to a wall switch. This means when the switch is thrown, the power is cut to the power supply of the LEDs and not just turned off. In this case, will it come back on with the same settings as before or does that only happen when it is turned off using the LED power switch?
I just tested unplugging the power from the LED strips and then plugging them back in to simulate your scenario. The LED returned to whatever it's previous setting was so your setup should work perfect.
I want to use 1 controller to control 4 strips (1 metre long each) I have cut from the 5metre reel in the kit, I’ve got 3 of them connected and working but when I add the 4th it flickers and is a different colour to the rest?
Did you figure out why it didn't work? It is probably a bad connection. Just finished my install ua-cam.com/video/QYHxdL84C-c/v-deo.htmlsi=4EuRoITMg0JNW_1G
Can you please answer a question? Here is my goal. I wish to purchase the Pautix 24 ft COB addressable line. I need to create a static display that has the entire length in blue BUT have a section somewhere in the middle (about 3 ft) that is red. Can this be achieved? Again, a static display, no funky jumping and moving and flashing…just about 10ft of blue then 3 ft of red then the rest 11ft of blue again. Turn off, turn back on and this is what displays every time…doable?
Here is my complete install ua-cam.com/video/QYHxdL84C-c/v-deo.htmlsi=4EuRoITMg0JNW_1G. I don't see an option to do what you want to do with the controller that comes with this kit. I ordered a new controller from AliExpress that connects to wifi and I'm hoping it allows that, I'll find out in a few weeks when it comes.
@@anasalinas3142 The app is BanlanX play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spled.scenex. I actually bought a new controller that works with Smart Life so I can control it via WiFi remotely. Not sure why your remote isn't working, did you make sure the tab where the battery is was removed?
@@walid_bey On the Amazon listing I think I recall the listing showing how much power is needed for each length of strip, you probably need a larger power supply.
Can i buy 2 in the same room and have them working separate on the app? Also can you link where you bought the long spool wire? Thank in advance brother. Love the details in the video
Check out my new video with the full install. I have three separate controllers in the app for different areas in my kitchen. ua-cam.com/video/QYHxdL84C-c/v-deo.htmlsi=4EuRoITMg0JNW_1G
Nice cob strip,like it.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed my video!

Can it also just do warm white? Also if I connect 16 plus 24 ft what power supply can I use?

@@MrEngineerReviews Wow! You ROCK! Not only did you do it, but you did it just a few minutes after I asked. Thank you so much. This really helps.
@@ProfessorOzone No problem, glad I could help. Good luck with your install.

Check the wattage to make sure it can handle it, you might need a higher power one.

Is 5 meter strip enough to light up a small room
How big is the room? Measure each wall to know the total length that you need.
Does the app have a way to stream music to the strip?
No the strip doesn't have speakers
