Great reaction. The guy you haven't seen before is Avi Kaplan. He was in the group 2011-2017. Matt came in later that year. Only personnel change in their 11 years.
While there has only been the one member change (Avi to Matt), Mitch (short black hair) and Kirstin change their looks so often and so much that reactors often think there have been multiple personnel changes. The rule of thumb is: if you're not sure if it's Mitch...it's Mitch! And same for Kirstin, who changes her hair color and style for almost every video.
They won their first Grammy for this arrangement. Their second Grammy was for Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, and their third Grammy was for a collab with Dolly Parton, singing Jolene. They are very talented.
This is their first Grammy on a $400 budget. As Scott said when accepting their Grammy that it was made in an apartment closet and kitchen table. Only one change, Avi left to spend more time with family and doing his own thing. He has his own channel and most of the others do too. That is the only change ever. There was only one member change in their eleven year history. Avi (in this video) left in 2017 and Matt took over as bass. Confusion occurs because Mitch and Kirstie are always changing their looks. Kevin is now bulked up. Plus, when they started in 2011, they were barely adults. Recommend their cover of Bohemian Rhapsody.
As others have mentioned, Matt replaced Avi when Avi stepped down to have more of a work/life balance. Where it gets a bit more confusing is that because they're all so talented, many have explored outside projects. Mitch and Scott have done covers and original songs under the name, "Superfruit" (check out their Frozen Medley feat. Kirstin from PTX). Kevin has done solo work under the name "KO" that includes some combination of singing, beat boxing, cello playing, looping, etc. (check out his cover of a Marian Hill song called Down). Mitch has also done solo work under the name, "Mercer." Kirstin has also done side projects. More potential future rabbit holes. And yes, they've done a cover of Can You Feel the Love Tonight from the Lion King.
Not sure what other a capella groups might've done Lion King songs, but PTX *did* do Can You Feel The Love Tonight 😄 When you were talking about them being "tech-y" I feel like you were referring to them being pop. But you have heard them do ballads, too, it's just a different side to them.

They changed their look like they changed their clothes. Sometimes looking like completely different people. Especially when Kirstie goes from dark hair to blond. Many people think it's a different person. So just know it's always the same people that's why they always sound so good. The only change is that you see our cosmetic it's always them underneath the makeup and clothes and hairstyles. Great reaction.. Would you please react to dimash kudibergen SOS 2021... Next level voice.. Seriously.. He has a 7+octave voice.. Can go from high to low flawless. Has so many songs out but the song that made him Famous is SOS.. It's a French song one of the most difficult French songs to sing because of all the high and lows.. He is 28 and from Kazakhstan. Has been singing since he was 5.. Sings in 14 languages and every genre.. From classical to rock and even raps a little.. A lot of his songs have a MJ vibe due to MJ being one of his idols.. Anyways please give him a listen too.. I'm looking forward to it!! Thanks dear ❤

Avi Kaplan, the founding bass singer in 2011, left due to touring burnout in September of 2017, Matt started for their Christmas show in December of the same year. Here is the announcement Avi made about leaving with the whole band sitting with him. ua-cam.com/video/JU244kTWH-o/v-deo.html Avi is now a singer-songwriter with his own band and a much reduced touring schedule more 1 month on and then 1 month off. If you want to hear Avi he is under his own name, Avi Kaplan. His most famous song is Change On the Rise that has been used on tv several times. He does usually original songs instead of covers and he is more folk rock than pop music. Bands are really like any other job. Avi needed a slower schedule with time for him to write music which are the most important things for him. The rest of them were happy with Pentatonix faster pace. .
