Danny, thanks for the thorough review. This bag should be priced at $150-75 USD max. Those folks at Nomatic should stop smoking the sticky green herbs and charge less for materials that aren't YKK and Cordura branded products. Evergoods and AER bags are examples of a company that use materials worthy of their asking prices.
Been eyeing this bag. $250 is just insane though. Even with the insane inflationary period we are in. Needing a good tech bag though. I have been switching between an Aer Fit Pack 2 and a messenger bag for too long. I need one bag that holds all my portable tech!
Thank you for watching and definitely a fair point on the price! If you like the fit pack 2 it might be worth checking out the aer tech pack 2 or even the flight pack 3. Other options that might be good to check out would be the bellroy transit Workpack or classic backpack plus or maybe the ridge weatherproof commuter
Hey Danny, another great video, the bag looks interesting but a little heavy for my taste lol. at 19:46 on either side of the zippered mesh pocket, are those little pen slots?
Thank you Dean! I agree, definitely a little heavier especially at that size and good eye on the slots! Those are pen holders, I forgot to call that out in the video! :) haha
Another great review. $250 is a lot of money to pay for a bag made in southeast Asia, where they won't even tell you what it's made of. The Aer and Wandrd bags you mentioned, towards the end of the video, are much better options (in my opinion 🙂)
Nomatic is a great brand but their bags are extremely heavy and also very expensive. I decided to sell my nomatic travelpack because there are so many better, lighter options for people with a smaller frame.. shame because the Nomatic products are always so versatile and have amazing quality
Thank you for watching and those are definitely fair points on the weight and price of the bags, hopefully they can reduce the weight a bit in future iterations!
Could you share the dimensions (height primarily) for the water bottle pocket? I can't seem to find anywhere and am super partial to my Hidrate water bottles. Thanks!
Thank you for watching and good question! The Miir water bottle that I have in the video which is about 20oz works well and there’s also some of the similarly sized camelbak chute bottles that have fit. I might also take a look at some of the smaller hydro flasks as well. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)
Thank you for watching! I think I remember hearing something about the company having to change its name outside of the US as there was another company that was also named Nomatic
The problem with nomatic products they have very boring design ...and all of them look very plasticy..i would really think twice taking them to a meeting and they charge as much as Tumi and other luxurious Brand
Nonsense! Research is ongoing, and although progress is made and there are fascinating studies, it should never be communicated with such certainty. This guy disgusts me!
Costco now sells this for $174.99....Costco also has several other Nomatic backpacks and bags at similar discounts.
Thank you for watching and for the heads up! That’s great to see them available at lower prices!
Wow thank you! I just ordered one!
You deserve a friggin medal! Just ordered one and feel that much better not paying full price!

Thank you for watching and I agree it would have been great to see the bag at that price point!
Damn the design Is Amazing ❤
If I paid $250 for a backpack and it had that wrinkle on the top reflect(like the one in this video) I piiiiiiiissed.
😂

Thank you for watching and i agree the price is a little high especially with how many great alternatives are currently available!

Thank you for watching and I agree definitely a really solid bag!:)

Could you take a look at the Lo&Sons Hakuba? It looks pretty interesting
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! I’ll have to see if I can get one to test out!:)
Just got mine and the water bottle sleeve is external only now. Mesh sleeve comes out and fits all the way up to a full size HydroFlask.
Thank you for watching! I hadn’t seen the updated version, but glad to hear it can hold a larger water bottle
Is that the lite version?
@@josegoncalvesdias3242 mine is a 15L
Did they change it? Mine comes with the waterproof internal-only water bottle bag

Hi my laptop dimmension is 20.1-23.5mm x 360mm x 260mm / 0.79″ - 0.92″ x 14.17″ x 10.23″, can i put my laptop to this bag?
Great Review!
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
Nice work, man! What about a review of Nomatic's 6L sling?
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion! I’ll have to see if I can get one to test out!:)
Do you have any recommendations for good water bottles that would also fit in this bag??

Reminds me of a turtle shell
Thank you for watching and I can definitely see that given the more rounded shape haha :)
did nomadic changed its name into gomatic? Can't find nomadic anywhere else and the product links redirect to gomatic products

@@dannypacks thank you!
Please insert the dimension in metric and weight in kilograms as well....
Thank you for watching and for the suggestion!:)
@@dannypacks Being based in Europe, I have no idea what do you mean when speaking about dimension and weight 🤔
Look it up
Great for an adventure in the city without a camera or an EDC commuter bag
Thank you for watching and I agree definitely a solid edc backpack!:)
Too pricey when they dont mention the materials used and not made in the US
Thank you for watching and I agree, it would be great if the materials were listed on the site!
sad that we can't order it for those who live in europe
You got the Eiffel Tower, what more do you want??
Now you can. It is called Gomatic in Europe
@@josegoncalvesdias3242 thanks a bunch!
