I just love how you make looming so easy to understand! This is an absolutely *beautiful* stitch! You can really see the detailing because of the color yarn you used for your demonstration. I *love* the looks of this much better than the other versions I've seen and will have to incorporate this into one of my next projects ;) Thank you so much for sharing this with us !
Hi, I love your videos, thanks. Just wondering, why are there three plain rows between the bamboo stitch rows? Is that just to space them out for a bit of visual effect? Excuse me for asking, but I am blind. Would this still work with only one plane Row between , or perhaps two?
Hi Amanda ! First, thank YOU for your kind word, I really appreciate it. Yes, you need the knit stitches to space the slip stitches. You can use only one but the stitch will not look the same.
Oh, goodness, this is an old upload, but if you see this, do you slip the first and last stitch when going back and forth? In other words, for row 2, do I do a Purl on the end peg, or slip it and do a Purl on the peg before and then follow with 2 knit stitches?
How do you cast on? you started in the middle and I am new to looming. Pls. show how to cast on from start to finish. I purchased the pattern and I am a bit confused how to start. HELPPP! I love this pattern.
+Victoria Rivero Victoria - the pattern and video are only for the stitch. Diffrent patterns require different cast-on. Here is an explanation: www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/
Important question on this, I know this is just a stitch vid, but the question is cast on, I cannot remember what is the best cast on, I like the e-wrap but it rolls, and I'm trying to make a blanket for my daughter with this stitch, I'm your opinion would the crochet cast on be a good one?
LoomaHat.com if using loom in video to make a blanket how would you recommend size set up? i have not read pattern so I agree with cast on for that loom but I just wanted to know your thoughts on setup, peg count etc..
LoomaHat.com i forgot to ask what or how did you do the edges? I just read pattern but it didn't say and I forgot your method plus what BO should I use if I do a blanket as asked in first question or scarf?
Hi Denise... Do you think this pattern will be ok for scarf or only suitable for blanket or plat only? I want to hv beanie and scarf with is match in pattern, thanks you :-) :-) :-)
Carmen A Hi Carmen, this video does contain the beginning of the stitch - it does not contain the beginning of a project. The video was only for the stitch pattern. Different project begin differently. What did you want to make with this stitch?
LoomaHat.com I'm interested in making a scarf. I'm kind of new at loom knitting so I want to learn more stitches besides the ewrap which is what I know.
Carmen A My best advise is to watch this video completely : ua-cam.com/video/WdxFdqy6u1s/v-deo.html . It's going to give you a lot of recommendations for beginners - then just change the e-Wrap stitch to what ever stitch you prefer - Here is a Current list of my stitches : www.loomahat.com/loom-knit-stitches/
If you like the video, please consider sharing it and purchasing a pattern - it helps a lot 💛 Thank YOU: loomahat.store/products/bamboo-stitch

This looks like a very neat stitch. I love how one is able to loom all kinds of stitches and make all most anything too. Thanks for sharing.

Are you starting from the initial first peg on every row or do you go back and forth starting at the end u left off on?

Hi hello there. Can I ask a questions? All patterns and designs are the same to casting on.i really appreciate your help and reply. Godbless you Miss
So row 4 ends with two knits. Then you start row 5 by doing the same stitches you just finished ? So rows 4 and 5 end up being the same stitches ?
Hi Denise any suggestions for the sides doing this as a scarf to match the hat?? I am worried about curling.

Only if you have a small gauge loom like the KBAHL in the picture or a Cindwood
