I love and thank you for your advice on marking the loom for the pattern. I usually have a separate sheet of paper and make a scratch through whatever row I finished as I go to keep up. I'm also going to start using the tip from one of your other videos where you tie a knot on the piece of yarn and tie it to a peg to monitor it that way. I'd been wanting an easy enough yet detailed pattern like this for a while and this is just so spot on. Thanks again for helping to make the loom experience so much more streamlined. I am an upcycler and I love to use pin looms as well so your videos are a great reference to help keep me on track and organized as I tend to bounce from one project to another depending on who needs what and what and etc. You are simply amazing. You definitely need to publish a book because I've seen a lot of videos and even took a class and nobody breaks it down, gives those invaluable tips or are as creative....and I thrive on creativity as I'm sure so many others do. Usually pattern writing looks like a foreign language to me but yours are always so easy to read. Please don't stop the videos and keep up the amazing work. This visual learner adores your explanations. You are appreciated💜
Thank YOU for the Thank you AikoFox, I really appreciate it ! I do have a few eBooks on Amazon. Waiting until I have more time to make that "in your hand" book. Really - thank you SOoooooo much for all your kind words.

Thank you for your videos.. You are amazing... I am a beginner and it is very easy for me to make hats, scarfs etc.. Can I ask you if I can use another kind of loom for this project? A round loom or a rectangular loom? Hugs from Greece
love this stitch. but lm confused do you do the whole row across l see you count till the middle but your yarn is at the beginning of each end when you start a row.. please explain that to me ok.
+betty davis Hi Betty - the stitch is repeated several times - I'm starting where I think you can see me do the knitting. This video is only for the stitch and not a project: www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/
Thank you so much for showing & explaining how you start your patterns. I'd been meaning to ask you. The more I watch you with the KB Hat Loom the more I want it. LOL 😍 I'm making a blanket usung your basket weave stitch on the KB afghan loom.
Do you use 2 different skeins of yarn for this? One going left to right and the other right to left? I don’t understand how the yarn gets from the middle to the end to start a new row.
the two pegs that you have a yellow band on them do you knit at any time or you just leave them a lone like you dont knit or purl those two sorry its confusing but beautiful thanks
Hi Jenny, at the end of each row/last stitch how do you wrap the last 2 yellow pegs?? then when starting a new row i know you skip those pegs but how do you wrap them?
Remember that this is a stitch pattern and not a project. Here is a detailed answer to your question - scroll down for the video : www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/
ok. this is only for the pattern. Beginners like me will have to figure the rest out lol. You do great work. thank you for sharing the pattern. Its so beautiful!!
+Victoria Rivero Thank you Victoria - sorry that I didn't respond sooner - been sick. Glad you understand. But just for general information - I normally use the e-Wrap cast on - tighten my loose loops and cast-off using the Modified Basic Bind-off. I have a videos for all 3. www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/
thank you so much. forgive me - i got frustrated lol. I was camping at your site and I was amazed on how very detailed everything is and I continued to actually read everything and I am excited to start the patterns. Its actually simple if instructions are followed and its very clear. thank you soo much!!! I will share the pic of what I make. you are all so awesome.
How many pegs total are used? A few times, you showed the end of the row but it looked like you still had stitches on further pegs so I'm confused. Is it just a set of 18 plus the 1 or 2 for slip stitches or is there a multiple of 18 in one row?
+Barbara Greer Barbara - Hi Barbara, the video is only for the stitch and not a project - its meant to give you a substitute for the basic e-wrap or just a plain knit. If you used this stitch for say a hat - there would be no edges - I made the square for you to see the stitch - I have no idea how many pegs I used - I just repeat the stitch until the square is big enough to look nice on a picture .. sorry
Hello, Loomhat.com thank you for sharing and explaining it was beautiful I can make that stitch basket in an infinite loom ? Please and thanks, greetings.
+Victoria Rivero Yes and yes to the afghan and the blanket. Yes and Yes to the more then 18 and the infinity loom. :) ... Don't you just love that word ... YES.
If you like the video please consider sharing it and purchasing a pattern - it helps a lot 💛 Thank YOU: loomahat.store/products/double-basketweave

Umbrellatoo I love all Basket weave stitches - especially for blankets
LoomaHat.com is there a way you can do a knit stitch of this pattern for a hat on the loom? And also how to cast on for the hat 😀 thanks!

When you end each row (in the middle) , are you tying off the wool somehow to begin the new row (on the outer edge)?
Thanks
Do you do it all around by repeating twice? Sorry I new to this!
the two pegs that you have a yellow band on them do you knit at any time or you just leave them a lone like you dont knit or purl those two sorry its confusing but beautiful thanks
Hi Jenny, I do the same thing on all my stitch patterns. Here is a post and a video: www.loomahat.com/start-my-stitch-patterns/

Does this have to be done on an oval loom? Or could i use a round or rectangle loom with round edges?
Hi Zoe - this stitch was done "flat" which is back and forth instead of in a circle. You can use ANY shape loom. 🙂
ok. this is only for the pattern. Beginners like me will have to figure the rest out lol. You do great work. thank you for sharing the pattern. Its so beautiful!!

I have a infinity loom was wondering if this pattern can be done on it and is 6 super bulky yarn to thick?
Yes you can do this stitch on any loom - looks best with small gauge - details won't show up as nicely with bulky yarn.

can- you do this as an afghan or blanket or ar this for only squares? What if I use more than 18 or use it on an infinity loom?
+Victoria Rivero Yes and yes to the afghan and the blanket. Yes and Yes to the more then 18 and the infinity loom. :) ... Don't you just love that word ... YES.
yes I do. awesome. i will pratice a square then start the infinity to infinity hahahahah
Do you have the written explanations?
what size of yarn should be used for this pattern?
Any - it really depends on your loom - I used #4 for this sample
I have a infinity loom, I'm not sure on how to mark it for this pattern. thanks
Hi Brenda - as long as you're using only 1 rake (one side) of the loom - it is done exactly the same way
for this pattern, how many times do you repeat each row?
Each Row? You repeat the patterns the amount of times needed for the length that you're wanting. I would suggest doing a swatch
what kind of loom are you using?

How do you turn this into a baby hat?
