So , geht yourself another one. Mine is now 15 Years old, almost blind… but he is never sad and passive. They are the funniest crazy little dogs in the world.
Me too- had Lulu at 6 weeks old, best 16 years, she was my first and only dog. I miss her so much, broke my heart when I had to have hospice involved- she was calm, indoor dog, lovable.
I rescued my Jack russell when he was 6 years old. He was a lover and a lap dog. He had a fenced in back yard. And he loved laying out in the sun. He followed me every where. He came down with cushings disease when he was about 12. He had 4 pomeranian brothers and sisters. He barked alot but he let the others know I was his. He lived to 18 and had dementia so bad, ,but I played doggie music for his anxiety and he slept next to me until it was so bad I had to make the ultimate decision to let him go. I miss him so much!!😪😪😪😭😭😭
Sorry for your loss, I’m writing this with my 19 year old jack Russell sleeping at my feet, we had her mum her dad and her brother but they have all passed so I know what you’re going through, if we give them the best life we can full of love and care then we have done all we can.

I have my first JRT but think my Sophie also is part Jack. I adopted Zeke after fostering him knowing he came with abuse and neglect in his past. He came knowing crates but now bites if I try to close the crate door. Is there a way to reverse this?

He was my little boy, his name was Stimpy, he went everywhere l went, he never left my right leg. He was very fit, he died because he had a stroke, it was so sudden. I think all you guys with all your praises and beautiful comments and stories, you are all beautiful people. Yeah. I only used a leash where the law said I had too. My JRT stuck to me glue. Followed me everywhere. Sat on couch with her head on my lap. She was alady. No jumping for her. She required to be picked up, put under the covers, head on pillow at bed time.
@@robinblackmoor8732 your little girl was beautiful , Stimpy would love to have met her. Take care my lovely, they will stay in your mind forever. Love lan, Stimpy.
I had a mixed JRT but she was quite a hoot! When she was younger i could not keep up with her... Sadly, after 18 years, she gave it up this last week, and i sure miss her! Godspeed Kendra!
My condolences it takes time for hearts to mend ...remember all dogs bring their love and when you are ready you will find another who would love to be yours ❤
I am sorry I totally understand. My first JRT was my best friend. He’s in heaven now I have another one now. He’s not like my first one he’s sweet, we just don’t have the same connection. Condolences on your loss,
Former goober owner, his name was Cooper. -You can't tell your terrier to respect someone, that person has to earn it. All I could ever do was teach guests to grow a spine, or he'd walk all over them. He could hear the sincerity in your voice when you said, 'no'. If you don't know how to say 'no' like you mean it, you'll be his tennis ball launcher for the next 18 hours. -Absolutely not a lap dog. Lap sitting was a shallow pretext to play. He'd lie on you with his eyes open, heart racing, and the second your hand touched him he was on his feet ready to play some game. -He was the best dog I had as a boy, and I had 4 before moving out. I think I got him when I was 8, and people always said Cooper and I were the same being, in different bodies. He kept me out of the house, he taught me about respect and determination, how hard work can be a love language, how to stick up for yourself no matter the difference in power, etc. That dog was a little champion. He wasn't disrespectful, he had high expectations of you, and did the dog version of scoffing at your bad attitude. We all need to be a bit more like terriers. They know a human's potential better than most humans.
I rescued my jack russel when he was 2, he past away an old man at 21 last year. He was truly an amazing dog, He was protective with the family and his beagle brothers.we miss our boy daily❤❤
I've had/have 5 JRT's . Each one had their own personality . From lap dog to zooming . Managed to keep them all satisfied . Greatest dogs I've ever had . Will still keep getting JRT's . Loved them all ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ .
I loved my two Jack Russells so very much. They were so fun - I threw the ball for them until my arm gave out. They did a tag team with the ball. They made up that game by themselves at the dog park. They were very social and nice dogs.
Nailed it. My dog would rarely cuddle but ocassionally. very independent. I never initiated play time she always beat me too it. One thing she was good about she never tore anything up that wasn't hers. Never a dull moment with her, she was always interesting. Caught a rabbit once even on a leash. Lived to be 18 years old. I really miss her.
I'm sorry for the loss of your JRT, my 12 yr old girl is "In Love" With my Henry Hoover, and Humps him most days ! He's still Smiling though, so I think it's ok ! 😁
We have two, they are the source of endless entertainment, we have four grandchildren aged 10 months to 5 years and they just love the kids. They are so good with them.
I said for years, if i win the lottery big time, ill have two JRT ... no more work and two JRT will give me enough exercises and enjoyment. the last few hours a day is for housework and a bit of Tv / UA-cam. Enjoy yours... two... I'm impressed :-) can be a handful just with one
Just got my first JRT after years of wanting one. My daughter got one as well, so the brothers keep each other worn out with constant play, then when they're pooped out, they come looking for a lap to snooze on. Such gorgeous dogs!
Omg all these wonderful comments about JRT 's. I adopted a senior girl last year and she is the subshine in my day. Love is not strong enough to described how I feel about her. We bonded straight away and she has been loyal from day one. So clever and intelligent, kind and sweet natured. Best decision I every made. ❤️ ❤❤❤
I had a Jack Russell live to age 19. He was a great hunter. He was very loving. He wasn’t as energetic as my family’s new JRT, but loved to play in his younger years. Throughout his life he brought in at least 50 animals, including a rabbit just a few months before he died. I also hate to admit this, but when he was like 1-2 years old he brought home a dead kitten. He really was the best dog I have ever had. He was with me from 12 to 31 years old. He was part of our family. Everyone in the neighborhood loved him as my grandmother just let him roam. He had her trained! He knew all he had to do was bother her or bark and she would let him go outside. He was an extremely loving and loyal dog. My family’s new JRT has big shoes to fill. RIP Winston
we had 2 female jrt's growing up, they defiantly have their own personalities. one was very uptight and the other so laid back! now that i have my own family we have a neutered male jrt he is the SWEETEST dog ever! it is 100% how you raise them!!! we had a 3 yr old boy and a 6 yr old girl when we got the jrt, but we trained him to be gentle with the kids, and he is great with the kids! i have seen my son stick his hand in the dogs food bowl as the dog was eating and the dog just walked away. BUT... he is prone to chasing rabbits and small animals around the farm so we keep him on a leash, but he is GREAT with the goats, even if they aren't very nice to him. he just wants to play, and NEVER bites or growls at them. i am a FIRM believer of you get out what you put into training your dog!
I watched this video with my Jack Russell and every time this video made a point that perfectly described him...he would look at me with that guilty look
We are on our sixth Jack. Have had a pack of three for about the last 20 years or so. They all had/have very different personalities, but in essence, they are as Jack’s are: quite a handful
I must have had 2 Jacks that didn't read this list. My late Jack LC was a complete cuddler and snuggler, as is my current Jack Sadie. Totally clingy to both my husband and myself.
I’m reading this while Cosmo is relaxing on my lap. He’s not a digger, is totally reliable off leash, and super sweet. Except…..loves to start fights with big dogs🙁
@rustdesk09 my jack russell loves starting fights with big dogs too 😂😂 he is the best cuddler. He's always ready to play or cuddle, preferably play though
I had three jr’s and if you’re an absolute leader you don’t get these problems. I walked mine off lead every where. Never had growling or barking issues. Brought up with the kids. Fantastic dogs. Tenacious ability and loving. I adore them.
For a while I was not sure mine could bark. Pretty silent dog. Mostly you would get one woof to get your attention if she sensed the mailman, or a visitor coming.
These dogs are the best for active kids. My grandsons who both played football, baseball, and skateboarded were 11, and 12. This JR went everywhere he could with them. He loved to retrieve baseballs, he would go for hours. He loved going in the boat when they went fishing, he also loved being at the river where he could dig to his hearts content. He was a sweet loving companion to those boys, and their friends.
Had a brilliant JRT. Whether he wants to be a lap dog depends on his mood...on good days he'll come cuddle. Digging wasn't a problem bc we lived in an apartment, but he would always try to "dig" at his bed haha. And stubborn is 100%
My miniature Jack is nearly nine I have had her since eight weeks old she has never been a digger, she is just not interested, she does like to roll and rub along the ground and actively seeks out bird crap in the grass to roll in, she chases Rabbits, Squirrels and Birds but has never killed them she just enjoys the chase. She is the least affectionate dog I have ever owned and only gets close in Winter when the house is cool she climbs under the quilt to keep warm, she also goes through periods of eating nothing them periods of eating big and scoffs down all her food and some extra, she can easily go on a five hour hill walk and never runs out of energy. I agree about children she has no time for little people under 4 ft and barks at them to go away. Love her to bit though never a dull day with a Jack in your life just entertaining in every way and great for security she barks at anything that comes near the house that is unknown
I have some spare holes if you need some. Mine loves his cuddles but it's on his terms an in accordance with his routine. Ours was the same as yours with food until we had a Dalmation move in. Now our Jack is a bit of a pig. I would not leave him alone with children. He has a wonderful nature but if the show isn't running according to his expectations, there will be consequences.
I have a Bullterrier x Jack Russell he sure loves to dig when I take him to our local park he finds the perfect spot to dig a big whole. He is also very alert and protective of his family.😊🐶💟
Our mini Jack was raised with chickens, turkeys, ducks, and cattle from early puppyhood. She never bothers the birds and, of course, the cattle are just huge and not always dog tolerant. She hunts squirrels, mice, rats, and rabbits around the barns and shops. She's downright vicious with them. She is very vocal with growling and baring teeth. She's physical. But, it's mostly talk. She grabs while playing but doesn't clamp down hard. Jacks definitely need room to be who they are. I'm retired, so I have time. A person has to be ready for the huge personality in a tiny package. Their influence in a household is very large.
My JRT (Rigby) got attacked by a pitbull but luckily he survived i saved him went to spca and hope to see him tomorrow I really miss him his like a human ❤️🥹
My 3 year old JRT is a lazy cuddle bug and loves all people and other pets. He doesn't dig, jump or try to escape BUT we run him 3 miles a day. Endless energy. He will also kill any rodents and birds that wander into the backyard.
We have two, and soon get a third. Lovely dogs if you have a way to handle what they are. Unlimited energy, guts, intelligence and a will. My baby is absolutely a lap dog, but on our 11 acres she has a ball. You have to let them run and chase. Very rewarding dogs and loyal like nothing else
We have a four year old who loves us so much that he is very happy to have us together in the same place same time and is my shadow and he is the best little guy ever he was completely trained by him self and he loves a Charlie B treat when I was teaching him how to stay and not eat my ankles as a puppy and he is so intelligent I can’t believe that he has such a great aptitude for knowing if our moods change and he will comfort us. We love him and he loves us.❤We lost my brother and we were both very close to him and I saw my husband was not getting out of the depression from losing his best friend and I told our grandson to get him a jet and he brought us Patches and that was the best medicine for the both of us. I didn’t know I wasn’t really over the loss but this little guy was and is our best friend and apart of our heart. He is very well loved and he is very sweet soul ❤😊
Mine figured out the windows in the car. Lowered the window, and jumped out at a stop sign to fight another JRT she saw in a yard. I did not know that she knew how to operate car windows.
We’ve had five JRTs and have never had any serious issues pointed out herein…they are highly energetic and love to play/run…but when down time comes they are excellent lap dogs and love to snuggle. All have been excellent with youngsters. No problems with digging or persistent barking. It all comes down to good training. Problems will arise with lazy owner & poor training.
Our JRT must be different because he loves the kids and he likes to cuddle and is a lap dog. Granted he does require some running and playing times outside. He also loves my toy poodle and they play together real well. He also doesn’t really bark a lot and seems to like everyone.
I was given a jrt (no one knows it's actually a jrt yet) by my friend on my birthday because they know how much I want to have a dog and yeah as a first time owner, it was so damn hard to manage I even got scars all over my body but i'm glad he listens to his training
I am so so sad that my landlord had to let go of their 18years of JRT today. He was the sweetest. The whole process keep replaying in my head and my heart hurts. I miss jack so much .😢.
I will never own any other breed, they are strong willed, demanding, intelligent, independent, and incredibly loving. Trainable oh yes and they add their own twist to that training an example, our Jack refused to use a lead and would walk by your side obeying every command unless you decided to try using a lead, lol. Lastly no two Jacks are ever the same, they are creations of individuality and a force of nature.
Two days ago we lost our beloved JRT Benji. He was run over and required extensive surgery. We lost him after he was trying to recover post surgery. He bought nothing but love and joy to our hearts in the 6 yrs we had him. It true what they say the dog chooses you and will be your companion and protect and love you for the rest of its days. To the uttermost ends of the earth my Benji Boy. I will miss you for the rest of my days. 💔 🐕
I lost My JACK RUSSELL "COSMO", 11years old, Today it has been month of his passing in my ARMS. He had A heart Murmur. The best Handsome/Poo Bear Little Man.. I miss you Sooo much, COSMO, I Wish I could turn back time to of nipped your Sickness!!! I will Forever never stop Loving or Missing you, I
Have a Welsh springer cross Jack Russel , 12 now , bit everyone but the wife when a puppy , realised when he started growling it was better to leave him alone and once we did this he was great . I can take food off him now and do anything with him now he trusts us . Still in good shape and I am going to miss him greatly when the time comes . Had Basset Hounds before , fantastic dogs and totally the opposite but knew I would never replace the last one , so got a totally different breed . Glad I did .
I have got two Jackapoo’s, and they’re sisters (which I was told often was a huge mistake, but I have never had any trouble with either of them). I have no doubt how much your little girl is loved and missed by you. I’m so sorry for your loss
My little guy is 2 and he's a lap dog when we are inside. He just curls up in my lap and goes to sleep but that because he goes everywhere with me, doing farm work and chasing his ball. Most loyal, loving dog ever.
I have a 7 year old JRT. A lot of energy, absolutely adores toy balls. Very nice to people and kids, I don't agree with that part, its a perfect dog if you have small kids and want them busy playing with your dog. It never gets tired. Very protective and territorial dog, a bit agressive with other male dogs. Hates to be alone. Dont ever get a JRT if you intend to leave him alone for a lot of time. I absolutely love my JRT, best dog in the world, like a son to me ❤
My buddy had a JT and he was the biggest lap dog ever. He loved sitting on our laps for hours while we played Xbox 😁 his name was Jimbo and was a little bundle of joy
I've had two Jacks so far, and the male I have now is just the biggest ham, when you take him in the stores he allowed to go into. He watches TV, and sings to the radio in the car, or the Semi. My last one, a female, when we were out on the Mississippi river, every time we hit the shore, she would jump off and go dig up a dead fish, then roll in it, EVERY TIME. So the dog shampoo stayed in the boat. She was the sweetest dog I've ever owned, smartest one too. I'd walk around the house with her hanging off the tug of war rope, snarling. Great Breed, but they can shed you a throw rug in about an hour.
My girl is a JRT mix with Portuguese Podengo Pegueno. She is ALL this and absolutely one of the best things that ever happened to me. She loves her pack and everyone in the world perhaps because she was socialized so early. Unbelievably calm when on outings (store, events, rides, etc) but lets the RIP out at home! Her ears stay up and her confident and brave demeanor is so sweet to witness. Will do ANYTHING you say for snacks...good luck trainjng without them!😂 Mattea Fia is my little heart beat...❤❤❤
Rescued 2 sibling jacks - what a crazy idea! They were quite the pair but oh well loved them. Our girl passed last year at 17, our boy is still with us at 18.5 yrs. He is blind, deaf but still full of energy.
My son's JRT owns all of the toys, everywhere. And the balls - all hers. The toys she gathers around her and guards, the balls she stashes. Surprise ball stashes can be found all over the house - under the couch, behind the bed, under the outside deck. She's as stubborn as they come but such a delightful happy little dog.
I love my Jack Russell to the ends of the earth. She difficult and wonderful… every thing is on her terms ❤ But, her love for me is out of this universe ❤ She now has a Pacemaker, because I can’t let her go to the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge…. I’m so in Love with her 😁❤️
We rescued a baby Russell and Lab and they are the best of bestest buds, they tear things up together, destroy small trees and plants. I find "snow" on random days. They're so cute😂😂 they're my monsters but they are a full time job.
I had that too. Chesapeake Bay Retriever and JRT. Yeah the terrier- retreiver combo is great. Both recue dogs. It is crazy how people pay so much for pure breed, then give them up. They would pretty much entertain themselves all day while I worked. Then I played with them or walked them after work. Very well behaved dogs. None of these issues for me.
Great video! We've been owned by a JRT for the past 13 years. She fits all the things you mentioned. We've already given her a ramp for the bed. The only thing is that she now can walk without a leash for short periods. We had her trained by professionals - twice. (She failed the first time.). One question - why did this short video have THREE ads??
I’ve had 3 JRT’s and loved them all. Greatest personality of all dogs, nuttiest dogs on the planet, tenacious as hell but loving, funny and as tough as old boot leather. Our first dog was a houdini and escaped anywhere we put her, went to the shop and waited for the owner to give her a freddo frog, she tried ham, chicken and cheese but wouldn’t leave the store until she got a chocolate frog (the shookeeper billed me whenever I came to the store). Our second JRT terrorised the postman from our side of the fence, chased him and barked like crazy, till I invited the poor frightened postman into our yard to meet. I then showed him she could actually open the gate by herself, it had just been fun for her to scare him. He laughed so hard he cried knowing the dog could have got to him but never even tried. Our last JRT was a dog for our 51 (over an 11 year period) foster kids, kindest most loving and intuitive dog ever. In my 60’s now and have just got a maltese, fragile, loving, gentle, non shedding lap dog, love her to bits but only about 10% of the JRT’s personality.
My Jack Russell mix died in April at the age of 20. When the time came he woke me up with a paw to the chest at 1:15am, gave me a lick on the cheek and by 1:23am he was gone. Worst night of my life. I miss him so incredibly much. The only comfort I have is that I was there with him when he passed and the last words he heard me say were “Thank you”. Rest in Peace, Scruffy. Your Daddy loves you like you wouldn’t believe.
i have a JRT in the Philippines. She is nothing like the video. She is very loving and caring and guarding. She lets me know when someone is at the gate. Always steals my pillow when I get off the bed, very loving small dog. Also, when it is bedtime, she needs to lie against me for comfort at night.
I had a JRT, "Pip" for fourteen years. If I had watched this video, I would not have gone for the breed, and the poster may have it right for most of the dogs. My dog was actually pretty good. Never jumped on furniture, or bolted; I used to walk her at heel for long distances without a leash. She was good with people, but deadly on small animals. Did not get along well with most other dogs, but there were exceptions. Interesting thing: she was digging a lot in the yard. We were concerned, but it turned out that we needed a new drain field for out septic system so the dog was smarter than us. Had a big problem with fleas! Our current Maltipoo and Bisonpoo never a flea!
Saw a video of hounds that cornered a cougar on a mountain cliff. It was a ferocious standoff until the Jack Russel showed up. He barked and snarled, then jumped into the cougar. Both disappeared over the edge and a minute later the little dog climbed back onto the ledge with the other dogs. He looked okay, and I thought what a tough little guy he was. And fearless! The smallest one was most courageous of all. 😮
Mine chased off a bear once. Growled and pawed the dirt like a bull. Then she charged and the bear took off like an elephant was charging it. Did not want any part of my little JRT.
I had a JRT mix. He wasn't super territorial and didn't resource guard nor was he terribly destructive, but nearly everything else about a JRT described him. He was always energetic and even when I got a second dog he used to wear the puppy out and come to me for play. And he was a cuddler, and a lap dog. Not sure what he was mixed with as he looked like a slightly bigger and longer legged JRT. He was super friendly but you had to let him sniff you before he would allow you to pet him, otherwise he'd back away from and bark at you. And when he would get loose...oh my...getting him back cuz he'd stop and let you get almost close enough to grab his collar before darting off again.
Nitro, our Jack Russel/short haired Terrier cross. Has many of these traits ... The most intelligent and loving dog we've ever had. A hell for postmen and delivery people. He trains us well ... (Why Nitro?) ... Don't be around when he farts!
Some of these are true with my JRT, but not all. One, my Milo loves sleeping in my lap. Two he is the friendliest dog ever and loves everyone, human, cat, dog, squirrel, everyone.

I'm crying with you....
My JRT is also named Cooper. He's a great dog who likes to cuddle and be petted.
same here about the lap dog thing. the second I try to pet him, he jumps up and grabs his toy
I rescued my jack russel when he was 2, he past away an old man at 21 last year. He was truly an amazing dog, He was protective with the family and his beagle brothers.we miss our boy daily❤❤
When people meet Oscar they say “Oh! He’s so cute!” My response is “He is…..until he’s not.” 😂 JRT, all heart and soul.
Best dogs in the world
They are pretty energetic, wonderful dogs. They can be pretty mellow… when they are very tired!
Really they are good little characters!
We had JRT who passed away this June age 16 she was a loving girl only naughty thing she did was try and kill the hoover every time it was turned on.
Lol my little Milo hated the vacuum too! So funny how he would try bite it 😂
I'm sorry for the loss of your JRT, my 12 yr old girl is "In Love" With my Henry Hoover, and Humps him most days ! He's still Smiling though, so I think it's ok ! 😁
Squirrels and vacuums the arch enemies of the JRT. Best dog I ever had. Some of these things don't apply.
Just got one he is almost 3 months old. Rip. So far so good. Trying to keep him occupied, trained and social. He has our hearts
Best dogs in the world ❤❤❤
We have two, they are the source of endless entertainment, we have four grandchildren aged 10 months to 5 years and they just love the kids. They are so good with them.
My JRT made me laugh every day. They are always doing antics. Everything is a toy to them. Loved that dog as much as my parents. More than the wife.
Love JRTs! Just the best dogs
I about spit my coffee when you said they aren’t lapdogs, I cant keep my 2 off my lap
RIP Winston
I had one when i was 12. She lived to be 17. Collapsed from a heart attack chasing the mailman. Best dog that has ever lived on this earth.
we had 2 female jrt's growing up, they defiantly have their own personalities. one was very uptight and the other so laid back!
now that i have my own family we have a neutered male jrt he is the SWEETEST dog ever! it is 100% how you raise them!!! we had a 3 yr old boy and a 6 yr old girl when we got the jrt, but we trained him to be gentle with the kids, and he is great with the kids! i have seen my son stick his hand in the dogs food bowl as the dog was eating and the dog just walked away. BUT... he is prone to chasing rabbits and small animals around the farm so we keep him on a leash, but he is GREAT with the goats, even if they aren't very nice to him. he just wants to play, and NEVER bites or growls at them. i am a FIRM believer of you get out what you put into training your dog!
Totally clingy to both my husband and myself.
wow you got lucky with yours
Mine is also..lap dog. And he can't get enough...his name is Jack.
Same. Mine clung to me day in and out. He was never happier than when he was sat in my lap. Bless my boy xxx
No one told me just how much I would fall in love with one, my little lap dog.
Glad he survived!
Thanks bro
Hope your dog is fully recovered, from a jrt owner of 5yrs.
My JRT is sleeping next to me in the bed right now. That is life!
Mine too
i know a JRT...the escaping part is so spot on
Mine stayed close without leash since he got a lot outdoor exercises
Mine figured out the windows in the car. Lowered the window, and jumped out at a stop sign to fight another JRT she saw in a yard. I did not know that she knew how to operate car windows.
I had a JRT and this is spot on.
Had two of them my last one made it to 17 years old we sure had a life of adventure , sure do miss her looking to get another
Great info! You have described our JRT prrfectly. But we love him.
Our JRT must be different because he loves the kids and he likes to cuddle and is a lap dog. Granted he does require some running and playing times outside. He also loves my toy poodle and they play together real well. He also doesn’t really bark a lot and seems to like everyone.
I have had Jack Russells for 30 years now, I would never be with out them.♥️♥️♥️♥️
I couldn't imagine not having my giant little Jack Russell terrier greeting me when I get home...🐕
Thank you very much for this video.
We had a jrt/ poodle. Perfect mix. She was so lovable. Never a problem. She passed at 15.miss her sooo much!!!
I have got two Jackapoo’s, and they’re sisters (which I was told often was a huge mistake, but I have never had any trouble with either of them). I have no doubt how much your little girl is loved and missed by you. I’m so sorry for your loss
Mines a lap dog . Cries if I don't hold him lol
We adopted one a week ago and I can already say he’s the best dog I’ve ever had. Very sweet doesn’t really bark, snuggles, super friendly.
I absolutely love my JRT, best dog in the world, like a son to me ❤
I love dogs, but i would not change my JRT for any other dog in the world. Well, I am in love with her, :-) The best dog ever.
I have a Jack Russell Terrier mix and he's a mischievous lil basterd. But I really enjoy his shenanigans.
My buddy had a JT and he was the biggest lap dog ever. He loved sitting on our laps for hours while we played Xbox 😁 his name was Jimbo and was a little bundle of joy
😊very glad you shared great info on JRT's. I love mine! Best dog ever❤❤
Mine is currently on my lap. Of course, she has been at it all day. And I mean all day.
I had jack Russel walked her every morning for an hour she was very loyal went every were i went loved going fishing great dog
She difficult and wonderful… every thing is on her terms ❤ But, her love for me is out of this universe ❤
She now has a Pacemaker, because I can’t let her go to the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge…. I’m so in Love with her 😁❤️
No one owns a Jack Russel. They own you. Or at least they think they do.
My chihuahua says no.
Truth,my jack owns the house
Yeah life revolves around them, not the sun.
My JRT loves cuddling up to me in my lap.
I had a Jack Russell for twelve years he was part of the family still miss him 😢
We rescued a baby Russell and Lab and they are the best of bestest buds, they tear things up together, destroy small trees and plants.
Spot on!
We just saved a jack Russell man oh man this video explains alot
I have one that I’ve had since he was a little puppy, he’s just shy of 15yrs old….and it’s soul crushing cause I’m not ready to let him go
I’ve had 3 JRT’s and loved them all.
Also, when it is bedtime, she needs to lie against me for comfort at night.
my jrt was raised by a cocker spaniel. shedding is constant. but she is mellow and loves to play fetch.
I adopted JRT. He is sweet boy, stole my heart and my bed 😂
I have two JRT/ shih tzu puppies. I had no idea they were such energetic dogs. My hands are full but I love them.
My Jack Russell is a tough dog but she loves her sleep after a long walk
JRTs are also called saran wrap for their preferred human. Love them.
my late JRT was one hell of a lap dog! she could sit on your lap all day every day since she was a pup and love life
Excellent Video
My jrt is definitely not a lap dog, shes a chest dog, or a face dog- yes she sits on my chest or face 😂 love my little girl Dottie❤
My Jrt was def a lap dog and very easy to train.
My wife and I had a Jack Russell/dachshund mix for about 13 years before we had to put him down. We called him Samuel P Rutherford.
So true a pleasure to see this video thinking to my beloved dog now he is heaven 🐶💗🪽
My lucky is 14, such an awesome friend!
My JRT is totally a lap dog. Sure do love him!
Nitro, our Jack Russel/short haired Terrier cross. Has many of these traits ... The most intelligent and loving dog we've ever had. A hell for postmen and delivery people. He trains us well ... (Why Nitro?) ... Don't be around when he farts!
We had one growing up. He had endless energy and was loyal until the end.
We've two rescues , a jrt and a corgi shepherd mix. They're the perfect pair . Colored up very similarly.
They are stinkin cute!😊
Some of these are true with my JRT, but not all. One, my Milo loves sleeping in my lap. Two he is the friendliest dog ever and loves everyone, human, cat, dog, squirrel, everyone.
thank you!
