I am 81 years of age and have always had dogs from and early age of 5.
I can honestly say....my last dog of 16 years was a Jack Russell. She was
the best of all dogs I have owned. I still miss my Jack Russell for the
love she bestowed upon me and the wife.....we miss her deeply !
And makes me feel better just watching these videos of them !!!

My father died of Lung cancer at the age of 80 and he had his Jack Russell from the age of 70. There was nothing that could separate the two of them and our little friend Walter which is his name is still here today and continues to bless our lives.
I miss mine as well. He looked just like the dog on Fraiser.
Aww bless you guys .i just got mine from my daughter as a present for christmas .she only 11 wks old as of today .she sometimes makes me cry in frustration , but then turn around in a split second & makes me laugh so hard that my tears turn into pure joy.we're learning from each other i guess.lolim 56 yrs old & have difivulties getting around .i hate theropy .but shes has gotten up & going now .wouldnt trade her for the world
I had the most gentle, beautiful Jack Russell Terrier for 19 years. She passed away just over a year ago. I love these videos because they remind me so much of her ❤️

I suffer from anxiety and depression too. Had my JR (Edward) 14 years and he helps me every single day. Without him, I'd never leave the house. Best friend I ever had.

Lalas & Meyers So sorry for your loss mine is almost 17 year's and she got sick last month but pulled through , she is my second one and my last because I am too old to get another she is my very best good girlfriend in the world . It's heartbreaking , I hope you are young enough to have another one in your life .
You should get another dog it really helps fill the void. If you feel emotional about it then get a different breed. Not having a dog makes the pain worse

My dad got a Jack Russell back in 1997 when I was 3 and named him Eddie after Eddie from Frasier. He was a lovely dog. Never growled, not a big yapper, loved cats and lying on my knee. He especially loved my dad.
My dad sadly passed away in 2012 from a heart attack. Eddie deeply missed him. A week after the funeral he died at age 14 1/2. I like to think he couldn't live without my dad, and went to join him. It makes me smile.

I live in a third floor flat. I use to give my JRT a tennis ball. He would let the ball go down three flights of stairs and go after it. Up and down the stairs for hours. I miss him terribly.

I have a Parson Russell Terrier and he is full of energy and goes nuts every so often to entertain us.
They are the same breed according to the Kennel club, The American kennel club tried to make a seperate breed but it's not recognised.

My favorite breed, had them for 26 years. But I got too old to keep up with them, so I don't have any now. My first JRT was my once-in-a-lifetime dog. He's been gone for several years, but I still miss that little fart.
I had my JRT for 16 years, then lost her to cancer, she was sweet, sassy, a ball of energy, favorite toy was a 8 oz, empty water bottle, the more noise it made, the happier she was, favorite treat, raw cauliflower ( crazy !! right ??) hated doing her business in the rain. Greeted me at the door everyday after work, barking and jumping till I kissed her on her snoot. Lol. She was a snuggler 💕💕 She was a hoot and I miss that Bailey girl everyday!! ❣❣❣
We lost ours at 17, from dementia related health issues.
I lost my first jrt 4 days before his 17th birthday, to cancer. Still miss that little fart.
My little JRT puppy will not go into the garden for a wee. That's a bit odd because he has no problem with going out for an hour in the pissing rain for a walk. We live in Yorkshire so it rains a lot. He doesn't seem to mind at all.

Could it be an allergic reaction to chemicals in the washing products, similar to how humans can individually get skin irritations and allergic reactions to chemicals in shampoo, conditioner, soap?
I think it‘s the smell of the shampoo, they want to get rid of it that way...

JRT are the greatest, I lost my sweet boy last july. He almost made it to his 15th birthday, he was my constant companion thru the years and my heart still breaks from the loss of him. 💞💞 they think they are 10 feet tall and bullet proof. Best breed ever.✌❤🙏🏼

I have a jack russell myself and I love him more than anything. He's the most energetic dog. When you put your hand above him he jumps and tries to get it. He's playful when in home but when he sees that a stranger gets close to my family he becomes protective. I love him so much. He's also really unique because he is full breed but he's silver and black that's why his name is Night.
We rescued one not to long ago, a little girl, named her "Sam". God I love my little jackie girl, she is so lovable, energetic, and just plain makes me laugh and smile every day I'm with her.

I had a Rottweiler. I felt bad that he was alone when I went to work so I got him a friend…a JRT. They were the best friends and best companions for me.
I just loved how courageous and determined that JR was to keep hold of that toy in the video clip, no matter how much bigger and stronger the Rottweiler was.
Had one of these little dynamos for 12 years. That dog could tear the cover off a brand new golf ball inside of 10 minutes!

I have a JRT puppy who is 16 weeks old. He is the sparkiest little dog I've ever met. He is very friendly to people and dogs and extraordinarily lively. He is intelligent and courageous. My whole family has absolutely fallen in love with him.
He is amazingly cute as well. We have met literally hundreds of people in the last 6 weeks and only about 2 or 3 haven't said he's either gorgeous, cute or adorable, sometimes all three. That does mean people are very ready to approach him so it's a win/win. People like him and every person he meets who is kind to him reinforces his view that people are great.
He is growing very quickly and I'm looking forward to seeing how he turns out. His father was a very handsome dog and he is shaping up to be just as handsome. I already know he has a great character.

I inherited a wire haired Jack Russel a couple of years ago. Moose is the weirdest, most active, loving, and loyal dog. He's also a U.S. DA approved killing machine when it comes to rats, mice, birds and lizards. Love that dog.
My jack Russell died in Dec. After about a week my husband said find me a puppy. We drove about 6 hours they had 2 left. Brothers. I bought both. Trust me one is great. Two is a blast. They wear each other out. Fun to watch.
Apart from the food aggression (BIG no-no), I think that despite these being difficult dogs being filmed on different days, it's pretty safe to say this could easily have been advertised as 'A typical day in the life of any Jack Russell' 😆😆😆 Amazing little weirdos, I miss ours still to this day 😔

@@ambrish214 The best way I can describe it is that they bite the same way that a moody teenager will slap your hand alway when annoyed, so no actual physical harm. They are very smart breeds who know better than to make their humans hate them, and would much rather use their teeth to go kill some smaller animal in the woods. In all 15 years that my Jack Russell has been alive, I have never, not even once, been injured by her (and I got her when I was a dumb 10-year old). Now my Chihuahua, on the other hand...well, my finger is still recovering from last week's bite.
Nothing but nothing compares with a well bred Jack. Who says Jacks and cats can't get along? Mine shared food and were best of friends. Now a Jack and a fox? That blew me away. There are some really dynamite Jacks in this video. Miss mine sooo much.
