It literally took me 2-3 seconds for the light bulb to go off when you said "goosebumps: the skin condition, not the books" (such good books as a kid).

Shout out Minn-eee-soooda! My son-in-law has friends in Missouri, and every time they go to visit, they are required to bring at least three LARGE carton's of Top the Tater. A couple of tips on the roll-up's. 1st- We call them Pickle-dogs. 2nd- The Milwaukee pickles are good, but get the full-size ones, slice into quarters, and dry with a paper towel. Lastly, get TRADER JOES cream cheese. It makes Philadelphia CC taste like air.
From Minnesota myself my wife makes a Minnesota sushi dip. Same ingredients just chop up mix together and eat with corn chips. Also all the local pizza places sell Minnesota sushi pizza. My favorite!
Dip it i Horseradish grated and mellowed in vinegar!

you very correctly used the goblet for your IPA. That was very satisfying. I grew up eating this exact food. my mom had 2 variations. one with pickle in the middle, other with a hunk of pineapple in the middle. both exquisite. we called them "cow eyes." I think my dad made that name up because they kind of look like cow eyes. gross I know. that cheese board wedding gift is GORGEOUS!

Approved by this Minnesota gal! Top the tator rules. Minnesota sushi is addictive. Some pros that I know use simple rectangular boiled ham. You could also try chive and herb cream cheese and you could refrigerate the roll ups before slicing. Great job!

The sushi name is new, but these are not! I grew up (central Illinois) eating these at every family reunion and cookout. I still make them every summer just for myself. Lol
im from 5 hours south and we have prarie farms sour cream and onion. It just hits different man. My sister lives in berwyn and makes me bring some everytime i come up. Id like you to try it if we could work something out. Its literally the best of the best. Everything else just isnt close.
