There are certain moves which are not allowed in a Corp style. Undulations of hips, pelvic thrusts, squatting/the spreading of legs and/or any semblance of twerking are considered vulgar and forbidden in the Corp style; however, permitted in a show style. To maintain a "stiff" presence requires discipline and a degree of humility.
It's been my observation that "show" bands perform a "show" style in order to make up for a lack of musicianship, precision and discipline. Show bands play/blat very simply arranged music which tend to emphasis rhythm as opposed to melody and harmony. It has its place; however, I prefer the more elegant corp.
Wasn't there a part on here maybe another LSU video when they stopped playing and said roll tide deez nuts??? Hahaha Roll Tide smashed dem nuts!!! Hahahaha ROLL TIDE!!!
Major respect for this drumline though!!! They badass!!! Better than any alabama video I've seen.
Dee Wilson preach it!!

Is that a song on the outro, or just a jam session?
Matt Akridge the last song is called Tubapalooza. We play it before games during warmups before entering stadium
@@louisianalegend4576 I was there for the first game of Joe’s legendary season
@Drumlines of America , Not to be an ass but you spelled Louisiana wrong.
Bass 1 tho straight fire
Sweet!!!
Show me one 5th grader in Louisiana that can't play this on snare...
most of them 😂
i think im one LOL
Phi Boota Roota!
roota*
But EOE either way
As a center snare I hate when people cross in between the gaps in the band. It pisses me off
Yes, but can they drum, march AND chew gum at the same time?
Just kidding -- drumlines are phenomenal.
Why are those young ladies walking so stiff? I would have my own fancy strut entrance with that drum line backing me up.

I bet you leave the seat down when you pee.
@@BRgetthenet bro da faq
All marching bands are nice but I am partial to a good military marching band. Those drum corps make me want to march straight into hell.
Tbh I like UT drumline more but they clean I’m not gonna lie
I’m not going to discredit them solid performance but I prefer show style to Corp but I play show style but nice work

Wtf did I just watch I'll give them a (B) since I'm from New Orleans🎷
Not really a fan of drum corps cause I play traditional but solid sound a little sloppy with your sticks but solid performance
Corps play with tradional grip so im lost on your comment . What did you mean by traditional ?
Not as good as Ohio State!
Boring
Hbcu bands do it better...
not really they play entirely different styles that require less skill lmao
Alabama is better
I can do better
