Whats up. I have a 2009 corvette with exactly the same problem. I can get in and it starts no problem. Then for no apparent reason, I shut it off then no start. Sometimes when it starts it will drive, but wont shift gears. I also dont have working doors, windows and gauges dont work & HUD. I can usually shut car off and have passenger push on floor where BCM is located. My car will work, shift, drive normal. Please let me know if you fixed it and how. If your still having the issues, what have you tried so far? did you replace and program the BCM? If so, did it fix some, all, or none of the issues. I have replaced both door switches and window switches, ignition switch, relays, removed and inspected BCM. ( no noticeable issues) thanks in advance for any info youi can share. Im so fed up with this ongoing issue. SO DAMN FRUSTRATING!
I did fix this issue and it was in fact the BCM I did not replace the bcm I only took it out cleaned it and used acdelco dielectric grease for the plugs I also replaced the window switches in the doors. And everything started to work as normal. My other other issues were that I had a 10% underdrive pulley and the alternator pulley has a regulator on it to not overcharge the system so a lot of my computers were not getting the correct voltage. But my advice is to look at the 7mm nut on the back of the bcm make sure it’s tight and make sure the connectors are clean
@@SoberIrishman right now I have the motor transmission and drive shaft out!! I’m going to make it the strongest I can cause I’m now on transmission number 4

@@panzerwaffen2873 a lot of times it’s the grounds on these cars but the bcm is mainly the issue for most chassis electrical issues doors tops windows etc.
@@LSMykie that's my problem I cleaned the grounds and still have the issues...I just got a bcm now only thing is to program it and pray that this is the only problem
Car came out of Texas which I don’t doubt that is true the dealership wouldn’t even let me trade it our for a new one 3 days after the purchase and it has been very expensive it is currently about to be on its way to Huston foe yet another wiring job I’m 10k in repairs on this car
Check the all your grounds , check wires and loose connections on the passages floorboard where you was at, have full charge battery check after 40 mins for a parachutic draw , sounds to me a bad relay somewhere you was at , it would show doing the test, do you have a problem with battery draining and no start sometimes? looks to me like a bad relay and or bad grounds ( check main ground first) battery negative, all body grounds

Take it to the dealership and have it figured out. Did you get it fixed?
I tried they kept charging me to diagnose and fix irrelevant issues that didn’t fix the issue

Looks like a flooded car , dude you shouldn’t be working on it , this could get real expensive to fix and may still have issues later.
