Both obstructed the Rangers from a scoring opportunity. There's absolutely 0 acceptable answer for not calling those. All the other stuff was noise, missed calls behind the play, gloves in faces, etc. Penalties not called that stopped scoring chances should ALWAYS be called. Game 1 of the season or Game 4 of the ECF.
As a TV veteran of 30 years the coverage by ESPN sucks. Their directors have no clue about the game and what fans want to see. I don't want to see close ups of players spitting while there is a scrum on the ice. Their directors play the piano on the switcher switch, switch,switch to things no fans care about. And McDonough and Ferraro. WOOF they suck bad. The TNT on air guys are so much better

We took care of Washington in 6 even though they were a wild card team. Then our second year against Tampa we get swept and after being down 0-3 a few players go to a club on Dale Mabry before game 4. The team gets waxed by the bolts in round 2. Team needed a new direction from the Q era. Bruno was a remnant of the Q era and I thought he would have been fine as HC. Huberdeau had a 110 point year but needed a new deal. The cats needed a shakeup with actual leadership of the team starting with hiring POMO to replace Bruno. This is with Zito calling the shots after year 1. Pulls one of the best moves this decade in trading for Chucky. Even though I felt at the time it sucked and didn’t think Chucky would impact as much as Hubie would. PoMo changed this team from offense first to defense first. The cats have never been known for their defense ever and PoMo had fixed a major weakness of the team that had been ignored since the Mid 2000s-2021. The cats have been dialed in, bought in, and built for deep runs with PoMo as coach and the right players, right staff etc. Regular season Paul and Playoff Paul are different.
