Worst first goal of a playoff series call ever. Why he had to finish his sentence while the goal was being scored is beyond me... and he did it again on another goal. Please let Kenny Albert take over. the series.. please!
Yeah, this Sean McDonaugh guy doesn’t have a clue.. The NHL is trying to bring in more fans all over the world and ESPN is using play by play broadcasters like this?? WTF 🤬 I’d love to see TJ first 3 rounds on MSG or pay Sam Rosen to do the games… this McDonaugh guy has to go… These set of Refs today were fuckin’ morons.. Get the refs from the Boston/ Toronto series.. they are soft and ruining the flow to playoff hockey..
Wtf?!?!? Absolutely not! Sam Rosen is THE voice of the Rangers….. You do know you’re on the Rangers channel, right? I’m severely disappointed you have so many likes with that comment, especially on this channel
Artemi Panarin, undoubtably a superstar, whenever he steps up it feels like he beat the odds. He's been played hard by the caps and canes so he's not having the same numbers as the regular season ofc, but he's so confidently playing his game challenging his team to step up, which they have. When he gets these oh so deserved playoff goals, they feel so big. I'm so happy, as a Rangers fan, to have him on the team, just a magical player. Don't even get me started on Mika.
It would’ve been 4-2 if they didn’t get that insanely lucky goal that deflected off, I believe Lafrenière’s stick, and was invisible to Igor. I was seriously nervous beforehand, especially after our last 1-0 win against them in March. Seems like they’re an entirely different team compared to then tho. Confident we’ll win the series, but definitely not a sweep. Rangers in 6 or 7
6am? Cry us a river lol. The military is halfway thru PT at that time. I was a little nervous going into it, but lost half my voice the first period from yelling/cheering lol. IMO, they’re played like an entirely different team than the one we played in March for a 1-0 victory.
@@ventilatorblues8716Anything can happen, remember we came back 3-0 against Pittsburgh and won game 7. Despite that, I think it’s Rangers in 6. Totally shocked by Carolina’s performance tonight tho. Our game against them in March made me nervous, especially the 1st period, they were all over us. But came back 2nd adjusted to it, which is just one of the reasons I see Rangers as a 2-3 period team. We came back hard and won almost all the games we were down after the 1st. Today tho, Canes, seemed like a totally different team. Mika scoring that beautiful even strength goal was a huge morale boost and statement. Him scoring the 2nd goal, I knew we’d win.
Great we won, our special team played very well. But 5v5 , We sat back too much and let them have too much offensive zone time. I know first goal was 5v5 But they need to tighten up quite a bit. And continue to cupcake in offensive zone!!!
@@ventilatorblues8716 I watched the 2nd and third periods. I saw a stat saying the hurricanes had way more offensive zone time than the rangers did. This was a good win. With a lot of flaws. (Too many penalties) Clean up the flaws is what I’m saying
@@ventilatorblues8716 the dooshbags had over 19 minutes and Rangers had less than 10 The stats not meaningless because it shows a flaw in the Rangers game. No to Sam Rosen. I will not and cannot listen to another "it's a power play goal!." Like it's so good and magical a phrase that he has to keep saying it. Like it's so good it ought to be patented. It's boring, repetitious, juvenile, just plain stupid, made worse that the guy thinks it's the coolest thing anyone ever thought to say. It isn't. Worse than the Mexican announcers who every damn time have to scream "GGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. "
@@dap777754 Like it or not, that’s his signature call. Held off the rally in Game 1! Game 2 Tuesday!
It really stinks that MSG only aired the first round this year. I should probably go ahead and cancel my MSG+ subscription until next season.
