Since being a fan of BTS since 2016, what I can take from Taehyung is that he is an old soul. He likes retro stuff, he always recommends old songs (from Sam Cooke, Doris Day, Pat Boone, Rosemary Clooney, Andy Williams, Mark Hopkin, The Carpenters, Frank Sinatra, The Platters, Vic Damone, The Skyliners), he likes art pieces from Van Gogh and Klimt, he takes retro-style pictures and videos (one of his favourite photographers is Ante Badzim), his fashion sense is very retro-esque and timeless and he just seems to get along better with people older than him (even though he has a child-like personality). He used to be very close to his grandmother before her untimely passing (his grandparents raised him on a farm, and he himself wanted to be a farmer but being an entertainer happened unexpectedly as he was scouted for his good looks).

JOHN LEGEND is one artist for sure I know he looks up too. It was cute when he met him for the first time. Adorable little fanboy for sure. But Tae loves Jazz and classical music he use to to play the saxophone. And RM wrote this song when he came right out of the hospital. The boys musical taste is all over the place that's another thing I love about them. They are GENRE fluid you never know where they will go with their music. i dont know abt what influenced them to make singularity to sound like how it is but rm mentioned that he felt v’s voice suits this kind of genre like rnb the best, if u listen to the other members’ solo intros they sound absolutely different than one another bc they always try to pick a style that suits each of their voices
