- Good day everyone! It is finally here! After its initial release in 2010, Alan Wake has finally returned and has been Remastered for modern consoles. As many of you know, this channel began because of this game so it is very dear to me. I am excited to be able to share this game with you all. For those who have played this game in the past, or are new to it, don't worry. There is something here for everyone.

Never saw the DLCs before, so was looking forward to this stream and the next. Really enjoyed this first one!
The acting and voice acting by Ilkka and Matthew is crazy good here! They work so well together :D

The topic of people thinking differently, imagining things differently. The guitarrist from my band is a major in music, I never studied music, learned all by myself. When we were making one song I was telling him how I was imagining 2 guitars doing something specific and that it would be awesome but he told he couldn't imagine the sound as I was imagining it. Like, I can clearly imagine the sounds of the two guitars and how they sound alone and together, but he told me he can't imagine things like that, he has to play and record and play the second on top, or I play one part and he the other, that's the only way he can picture it. I found strange how one person can imagine sounds and how they combine and stuff like that and someone whose life is basicly music can't. It's weird how this is so different to people, like, I never thought that the way I think is pretty f***** weird in comparison, yeah, what you said about people imagine things in different ways reminded me of that.
I forgot the term for it but there is a measurement for how intense a person's imagination is. I mentioned it in one of my lecture videos. Forgot which though.
Some people can some can't. It is weird for those of us who can see or hear things in our head with detail. I forgot the percent but some people even report not having an inner voice.

@@GamingUniversityUoG why else is there a school bus in bright falls we never see any kids or a school. Always thought the magic school bus was an elderitch beast. That or a ai trapped in a bus.
Miss Frizzle is a boss, she could save Alan in a single school day.

Is possible to manifest good things in the dark place? Also I think that you will enjoy Returnal because of the Greek mythological references.
Wait Greek Mythology references in Returnal... hell yes I'll enjoy it. I also hear there is a former Remedy writer on it so I'm curious to see what influence comes over. And I'd say yes it is possible to manifest good things. Alan kept creating good memories of him and Alice. The trouble is most people will have one dark thought, and once it manifests it branches out into other dark thoughts out of fear what what they'll create. Spiraling motion from there.
I hope it does happen at some point, I really enjoyed the prequel miniseries and seeing it expand on some things
Oh there are 9 realms in norse mythology? Thats why Jesse claimed there were actually 9 slides for the projector
9 is all they knew of. The Hand was labelled as #36 so maybe there are more but we don't know as of now.
@@GamingUniversityUoG maybe there are many more slides because there are many realms from other cultures. Jesse just so happened to get 9 from norse mythology
the only bad thing about the alan wake games is that you have to be able to read to get the game mechanisms, shoutout to my analphabet brothers
Yeah I can see that with the DLCs. Especially that mine field of words partway through.
Funny you talk about musicals and how you hate them. I did too until a friend showed me a group called Starkid who do comedic ones. I was hooked on em ironically by their production called the guy who didn't like musicals.
This might not have an answer but what is the implication of Alan dying in the signal? Like I understand you are just reversed back in progress like nothing happened but if Alan did die, what does that mean?
Well we know he is still alive. But if we go by the theory that he died then this would be a version of Alan like a spirit or archetype that continues to act and behave like the real person.
