I can't get over the quality of your teaching Jules. It's like you can pinpoint the frustrations of so many players and give them the 'keys to the Lamborghini'
Just to answer your questions: yes it makes sense and it’s very useful. Then, you really share your feelings and ear sensation. That’s great. While you teach with a good tempo, we can be « part » of the creation process (why this, why that and « why not? »). That’s also the case in the other teaching videos you published. No simple Tabs there, but it’s probably better to focus on your hands work. Could be useful to get them at the end of the video and/or in the description. Thanks
He should show these chord shapes without thumb over the top. It should be the same for players who can't play with thumb over the top, who have smaller hands. It's a lovely, melodic sound but please, it can be done without thumb over the top.
Forbidden thumb ? Who invented that theory must be dumb. How are you gonna play Jimi Hendrix songs without thumb..the Django style ? LOL.. Good tutorial..just subscribed. Greets from Belgium.

Hey amazing work thank you for that video! What scale is recommended to improvise on these chords?
Cheerz
Bb major pentatonic would be the best starting point.
Hallo. Very nice chords. But I have also the problem with the small hands.
I got short fingers. Can't hardly get my thumb over onto the E string let alone muting the A string.
Beautiful. What gauge strings do you use please?
I use Fender 9-42
Where did notes for the double stops from the sex riff at the end come from?
