I had to play this entire game over twice because I stopped playing in the middle of Operation: Canada Games, and had to go do something. I turned off the console AFTER I saved and quit, but when I came back, I found that the game had started my progress over entirely. It did this TWICE. I remember having saved in the middle of fighting Jean Bison, and when i came back, instead of restarting me at the beginning of the operation as I expected it to, I was back in the middle of Laser Redirection?? Needless to say, I've played this game and this level more times than necessary. But it turned out alright, as I grew to love this game, and it is my favorite game of all time. I suppose I'm simple. ~(*-*)~
Same happened to me at the first of episode 8 Even when I user a disc that somehow cheats the game and got back at the start of the episode… but this killed my excitement for the game when I was a child But I replayed it a few days ago And got the Platinum yesterday And… I feel like achieving one of my childhood dreams 😭🤍
@@GastrodonAmy The issue here is that the model for the mammoth froze on the edge of the frame, even though it’s supposed to have fallen in the river. It all stemmed from expanding the picture to widescreen.

You have to load your save, when you start the game back up. Not just press continue.
