I have heard that in the orginal plan there would have been one more extra chapter. In this chapter Arpeggio would have had a bigger role. However because the limit of time and budget they had to squeeze his role.
I wish we had an Arpeggio boss fight. He’s the only Klaww Gang member who didn’t have a boss fight, only his second in command Neyla became the final boss by merging with the Clockwerk Frame.
I’m still annoyed we didn’t get to have a boss fight with Arpeggio. We could’ve beaten him and then Neyla would deliver the final blow and then she would reveal herself as the final villain
I hear ya! That's one of my oh so few complaints about this game. I would've loved to see more of Arpeggio! And maybe, if he had a boss fight, he would've pulled out some cool gadgets or devices in an attempt to take you out....
The one thing that every sly cooper game does, is make you feel sorry for some of the villains sometimes. Like with mugshot how he got bullied when he was a kid, arpeggio who can’t fly because of his wingspan (which I don’t see why still can’t fly because he’s a type of parrot that probably is that size, but can still fly), panda king because he wanted to be a firework artist, but they cast him out because he’s not rich. Honestly you feel sorry for some of them and see why they would it.
I think Arpeggio is supposed to have some sort of physical disability that completely prevents him from flying, or maybe his wings just didn't develop properly. That could explain why he felt so frustrated at his own body and why he eventually developed an immortality complex; a lifetime of watching other birds growing healthier than him and likely bullying him as well did some heavy damage to his self-esteem.
Arpeggio’s fate was clearly sealed either way. Even if he had successfully entered the frame without Neyla interfering, he’d be shot down in the end anyways or perhaps overtaken by Clockwerk’s consciousness returning. And what’s worse, despite his ingenuity planning this insidious plot, he himself lacked any further qualities to be called a true villain. He could’ve contributed plenty given his genius intellect, but gave in to his resentment for all the other flying birds of the world.
The fact Neyla even mentioned she was feeling something when she was in the frame, Clockwerk definitely was trying to return. With Arpeggio, I wouldn’t be surprised if Clockwerk took over quicker.
@@crimsondynamo615 Clockwerk would've also dissolved or consumed Neyla and then become fully resurrected. I doubt that Neyla would know how everyone she used and betrayed felt as she would've faced demise by Clockwerk consuming her. It don't matter as they're both dead and erased from existence.

So Arpeggio must have modified Clockwerk's design to allow for another person to control the body. This raises the question if Clockwerk's brain was ever re-inserted. Not sure why Arpeggio would've wanted to have Clockwerk's brain in the final product if his plan was to just use his body. It's plausible that the brain was left out to make room for the cockpit for Arpeggio/Neyla to use.
I always thought the reason she became clockwerk was because I kept on failing missions with her, especially the chase ones where I beat the stuffing out of her. Man I was a sadistic kid.
I think she was influenced by Clockwerk, myself. I think Clockwerk was looking for someone young sucker he could promise immortality to and extract their soul in order to stay alive.
Honestly I would have hoped that during Apergio's speech Clockwerk's body was like Bentley said in the first game starting his regeneration process and reactivate.

I question Neyla’s motives. She basically took Clockwerk’s body with all the power and immortality just for the sake of having them. Where as Arpeggio had more motive then anyone else, he wanted to finally fly and be immortal. Just imagine Clock-Peggio. A well mannered and properly refined Clockwerk with a low and menacing robot British accent.
It would be incredibly neat if Arpeggio comes back in Sly Cooper 5 (if there's going to be one) as an animal who survived Neyla's ignorant attack while still permanently unable to fly where at first, the guards, including Inspector Fox, arrest him for the crimes he committed previously, but of course, they all forget to mirandize him, so the judge simply lets the parrot go immediately. Soon after, Arpeggio becomes good from now on, knowing there's no point being bad, & teams up with Sly Cooper himself as a playable character we can all control. By then, Arpeggio lives longer than we hoped. That should be perfect.😁
I hated CLock-la in this game, I think it would've been much better that while during the conversation between Cooper and Arpaggio, we get a view from Clockwerk's eyes as he comes back online, and when Arpaggio gets closer to Clockwerk to go in, Clockwerk regains control and kills him before Sly and Neyla.

I have the sly collection, but mine is significantly less high quality than UA-cam videos I'm seeing. Is this because the pixels are smaller on phones than that of a TV??
No. This is because this channel plays on ps3 the original versions. The Collection is remastered by the company who made thieves in time. Like other games, the remastered is a drop off in quality.
I say the producers should bring back Arpeggio as a survivor of Neyla's attack, plus a reformed citizen and team up with Sly Cooper in the next sequel even though he'll still be flightless as a penguin that time. By then, surely there must be some weapon/weapons he can use on enemies as a playable flightless character. Hopefully, that'll suit the world.
Think about @AISUYU COLD, the technology that made Clockwerk Immortal didn’t exist back then, so something or someone had to of brought it to him from the future.
I got like a small complaint about Arpeggio’s plan to gaining immortality with the Clockwerk Frame. Why would he choose Paris to unleash the hypnotic light show of hatred after the citizens of Paris consumed Illegal Spice through Dimitri’s Night Club? Couldn’t he pick a much larger city like say Washington DC, Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, San Francisco, Chicago, Moscow, Saint Petersburg or, why not New York City since it has a lot of Night Clubs and a lot of crime ridden areas for Dimitri to sell his illegal spice to the public? That way the light show of hate in NYC would give Arpeggio twice the power he needed to fuel Clockwerk’s Immorality. The bigger the population, the more hatred needed to keep Clockwerk Immortal.
Honestly I don’t understand Neyla we don’t even know why she did what she did there was no backstory only the fact she a crooked interpol agent Arpegio should have been the final boss not Neyla that’s my only take away from a near perfect game

It would be impossible to have a fight with him, as physically he's extremely weak. Sly would likely outright kill him if he attacked him.
