- I’m the Rules girl and this is Everdell, a worker placement and city building game for 1-4 players.
In Everdell, players compete to build the best city in the forest by placing workers and playing cards.

Such a fun game in no time rules thanks to The Rules girl. Small correction: on 01:02 there’s an example of placing a worker on other player location card, the Cemetery. In the game It’s not possible to do so (it is not an open location). I suggest to put the Inn instead 🙂
I love your videos! You do such an excellent job of condensing the key points down to concise information, and the clean visuals and editing really helps me get a feel for the game and if I'll like it. Thank you!
Great video, thanks! Two small details are that at 0:54 you highlight that most spaces can only be occupied by one worker, but the circled spaces includes one that can be occupied by multiple workers. And then at 1:02 you mention that you can play a worker on an opponent's destination card, however you demonstrate this with the cemetery for which this is not true. You can only place workers on opponent's cards if they include the "Open" sign.
“The goal of the game is to win.” Always cracks me up.
OMG THANK YOU FOR SUCH A CONCISE GUIDE!! This game can feel SO overwhelming at first, but you broke everything down wonderfully. I will definitely use this video to help introduce the game to my friends in the future!!
Love your videos to help refresh on a game I havent played in a min
Less than 4 minute coherent well put together explanation cant be beat! Thx a ton.
Thanks RG! Very succinct and high quality videos.
Really great video, I always show your videos to new players learning the game because you communicate so much and so clearly in such a short time! Thank you for doing this :)
Only some destination cards may have an opponent's worker placed on them. They are designated by an "open" sign. The Cemetary is not one of them.
I love your accent, and that is a very interesting way to say the number 6. This game sounds pretty interesting, but It's so expensive for what you get.
It was my understanding that you can only place a worker on a spot on another player's card if that card has the "open" sign post on it?
I think so. I’m not sure.
Yes. Only on the building with the open sign.
Thanks for the overview!
nice animations. helpful video. thanks
A couple inaccuracies in this video. You can only go to an opponent’s space if the card has an Open sign. And you don’t clarify the open vs closed paw prints very well. Otherwise nice work explaining the game so succinctly.
You also score the points written on the cards in your city ;)
What is the win condition if someone is playing by themself?
so basically amogus
