HUGE common SKATE sea fishing 2024 last campaign of season

Our last trip to the wild highlands in search for common skate for this season’s campaign . However our mission is to get one of the lads a dream fish before the season is over .The Scottish weather this time of year should be on our side but high winds were due but with shelter we should be fine. What saragosa would you recommend? I do alot of fishing from the rocks on the northeast coast. I've been thinking of the 10000 or the 14000. Is it just down to different spool sizes?

Putting some real quality content out now lads 💪🎣 loving it . A couple of targets for you both if you have the time . Big undulate ray and big blonde ray . Travelling might be bind tho as there more a south coast fish . 😎 all the best and tight lines 🦈

You can catch skate all year, there is no season that you won’t catch them.

Hi dead lizard……… that is our time frame at TNTR for skate we won’t be targeting them until later on in year so yes season for us at TNTR is over for them until next period we like to fish for them simples

Hi David , personally I find autumn through to spring best for them on the marks I fish for them , that is when we at TNTR target these , we move onto other species after this period so that is our season 👍however you can catch them throughout the year but find more numbers during the periods we fish them 👍 thanks for watching mate great feedback

Wow, what a great way to round up this series on the Skate.
Total respect to Scott for his perseverance. 2 years is a huge commitment but his efforts were well rewarded with his 200lb+ fish.
