I admire the part when you shared how long it took you to edit this video and how you wished you had the motivation like you had in the previous video being in flow for 3 days. It feels so relatable to me, as I struggle to continue with my art because I’m paralyzed when I know people expect something from me. Or maybe it has other reasons why I sometimes have a creative block. I wrote a bad poem in the morning just to piss off my inner critic and embrace the state I was in (feeling trapped in a creative block). I love me the most when I’m in flow and having fun with my art (stories or poems) without knowing that people are gonna read. It’s like God and me in a playroom of endless possibilities. When I was a kid it was so effortless and now as an adult I’m trying to relearn it, but social media has heightened my own standards and that’s why it sometimes feels like pressure instead of fun.
I especially loved when you mentioned how energized and inspired you were after you were let go of your job. This is why I have the word disaster on my back, it’s because after each disaster I get reborn and life feels fresh and new and light, but only when I let this „death cycle“ fully happen without clinging. I literally have to let me rot and get lost in the abyss sometimes to remind me of my power. I love this holy life. Thanks for the reminder 🐉🌙
This is beautiful, and I felt myself resonating with everything you said so much. I’ve been unemployed for a year, I got a job a week after graduating college in the field I graduated for. I worked there for 3 months before I was layed off, it crushed me at the time because I had worked so hard towards such for 2 years. With this time off and being with self and also receiving many life lessons, it has taught me a lot about myself and stepping into my highest timeline. I didn’t know it at the time, but god removed that job from momentarily, because it was not the correct time for that career to enter my life, as I had and still have so much healing and growth to do, to continue stepping into and maintaining my highest timeline. Happy I subscribed, excited to see how far you go:)
