Thanks again Ben. So good to see after a year of nothing and supposedly being cancelled that it got released. A def buy for me to go with my bmb Grimlock
the spinosaurus heating fact is true, well theorized of course, but its based off of what very few animals have similar structures. it would have lots of veins scattered within the thin skin flaps that would catch the sun. as it landed on the spines skin, it would warm up the blood in all the vessels under the skin and would pump back through the body, heating the whole body up!
Excuse me in that it is correct 9:34 since if the groove is rotated completely vertically, the flange collides with the circular piece. in other videos they rotate until the vertical groove is left and thunder is heard I think they broke it. That's why I better followed the instructions in your video.
Don't forget his eyes light up in 🦕 mode, switch inside the back of his mouth! Also my spines were bent but they were the central row at the bottom, how it was packaged maybe?
Yes I am aware of the alternative oversize version , I believe TFDirect have actually been sent a sample to forward on ... I have already reviewed the oversized Wei Jiang version so it would definitely be in my best interest to compare the two
BensKOllectables so maybe I’m just stupid but can’t find a weijiang ko upscaled masterpiece megatron. I’m talking about the movie one megatron. I want a ko oversized movie one megatron to go with a black mamba mpm upscaled optimus. And your videos are pretty good so I’ve basically waiting to see if you’d make one.
Now that bmb have rebranded, suggesting the rumours about them having their hands slapped by hasbro, will the previous releases still be available. Theres still some I haven't got yet.
Just thought of something, black mamba have brought out 2 of the dinobots... and if I remember correctly the dinobots combine. So do you think these will?
Did you have any luck straightening out the spines? Mine unfortunately has even more bending and I know I'd use too much heat if I tried to guess how to fix it. Looks like the ideal thing would be to lay them flat in boiled water, but I'm not sure you could get the pins out without potentially doing more harm than good.
Hello sir I'm planning to buy grimlock but can't decide which is better in overall comparison and. pros and cons BMB grimlock or Weijang grimlock? can you provide me. insights on which is which? and which one has a cooler and more detailed colors.
Lord of Murder MPM are 1/29 not 1/30 not that not. Grimlock for 1/29 MPM scale should do 87cm and Scorn 90,10cm And for 1/34 MPM scale they should do 73,15cm for Grimlock and 75,76cm for Scorn.
@@Nomadx83 I've always thought the scale to be "convert feet to cm and add 1cm" Like how Bumblebee and Black Apple Prime is scaled. But yeah, f we're going by 1/29 they would be 88,2 and 91,4, so pretty much the sizes you mentioned.
I still can't believe that they upscaled this to humongous proportions and yet didn't bother to add ANY new articulation aside from the fingers. The tail/flail needed more articulation points BADLY and it would have been so easy to do without even breaking the sculpt more. And what about the arms in dino mode? Still hanging off the shoulder and you can't even collapse them. As with most OSKOs this is pretty disappointing in the upgrades department, although he looks really good.
So here's the thing about these oversized KOs: one of the reasons people will choose them over "3rd party" figures is because they will have a cheaper price at retail since the KO manufacturers have less engineering cost in the figure and the lower parts count means fewer parts. The more changes they make, the more they have to increase the price, and if you made a 3rd party Scorn at this scale it would easily cost three times as much. The two changes they did make - adding those flank pieces so the dino torso looks more complete, and letting the dino toes collapse against the legs - were probably the two most needed changes.
@@DarkdustDragon I get that. It's just not what I think would make for the best product, and it isn't something I want to buy. A huge version of a small toy is going to have more flaws seem not OK, so improvements over the original mold are the only reason I would be interested. A big voyager toy is still just a big voyager toy.
Greetings friend, unfortunately I acquired a Scorn Ls-11 Aoiy mech, which has a fatal design defect in the arm joints that instead of putting a large gear as it did in the arm joints of the Grimblock Black mamba, spinosaurus They had the very bad idea of using independent gears that every time you move them they fracture the thin tube where it is screwed and in the end it breaks and the repair is almost impossible. in my case I had it in robot mode on a shelf and after 2 months I found it broke by itself.
Hi , when your figure arrived did it had the spine deformed ? and if yes how did you fix it ? and for the arm gear is it possible to still transform it and pose it with the arm joints broken ?
BMB Grimlock is based off the SS Leader, Scorn off the Voyager class (which still looks great), not sure what BMB's going to do if they do release Slug.. A massive deluxe class Slug? 🤣 (seriously hoping they do Slug, in the same scale as Grimlock/Scorn)
The lack of articulation on the tail and the fingers bothers me a bit, and so does the Spino arms on his shoulder. Other than that it's a great looking figure, especially the paint! Does that little Optimus transform? I'm guessing no because of the size, but it's the kibble that leaves me confused.
I believe that the mini "Optimus Prime" (does) transform, But the demonstrator was solely focused on the (featured-figure) more so than the Optimus one...!!!!
