This episode is a loooong one....but I hope it resonates with some of you. I grew up poor like most of you probably, I know that feeling and its the worst ...especially when you are a kid and cant help. I wanted to tell this entire saga in chronological order....from a little kid until this past year.
I choose to stop making forsure money to make content because I LOVE it...I didnt realize how difficult and draining it would be...but it was worth it!!!

Being broke sucks and is really discouraging sometimes, but knowing other people are struggling or have struggled is very encouraging. Love ya videos man keep it up.

It very much is discouraging, grew up broke and currently am becoming broke with an unsuccessful job hunt for months. Its discouraging when almost everyone you meet is incredibly judgemental or puts into you that you as a person aren't valuable. People will assume you are not ambitious or lazy, people who you thought loved you or had your back leave you. It sucks to pull yourself out of these deep pits we find ourselves in. Good luck to you all.

I’ve basically told my family I’ll never quit smoking until I want to, my mom doesn’t care anymore because I’m graduated, my grandparents know but while they don’t condone it they mind their business until I give them a reason not to, your dad literally lives in the past.

me right now, working at two mechanic shops and still cant make rent and eat food(or even buy weed). literally dropped 20 lbs in the last two months cuz i cant afford to buy enough food. it sucks and i work my ass off, i know im not the smartest person but im far from lazy. im dedicated and clean with my work and im very proud of what i do but im left with about 50-100 dollars after paying rent and it feels like im doing everything i can and cant enjoy one aspect in life. i know noone really cares about someone rambling about their life, and i dont want pitty. just getting frustration with life out in these comments a year after the video was released. love the content yola, you're part of my daily routine and have been for years. you're one of the reasons i wake up in the mornings :)

The 3rd story was the absolute best ! I wish you could shout this story to every kid in this country. They need to hear that you CAN achieve your dreams , no matter what you have been through or are going through. Just make up your mind, grab that dream by the tail and work work work ! Go for it ! It is worth every hungry night, sleepless night, painful days, etc. It is worth it because you did it , whether you had a few hands helping you or not. Don’t give up and never let naysayers drag you down ! There will always be some of those too. They just want to pour cold water on you because they’re afraid you’ll succeed. You will pass them by.

Anyone can be a mean jerk and make it, but when a kind soul makes it, it makes me all warm and fuzzy feeling because it just proves, the world could be a better place if people would just be kinder to others. Man this is so relatable I love it. I grew up poor poor because My dad was in the pin and my mom was a single parent raising two boys. My mom was a alcoholic for a long time but I wouldn't change my childhood for anything it taught me to grind it taught me to respect life and the things I have.
