My Dad has a tumor in his throat and I visit him at the hospital, every night when i finish work. His radiation treatment ends on Jan 13. Shout out to my Pops for grinding through it!

This episode hit me hard. I saw me and my moms relationship so similair to Marty and his mom. All the dysfuncional twists and turns, but thats your mom and you love her. It's a hard spot to be in. Thanks for sharing Marty.

Loss is a very strange thing. A myriad of conflicting emotions. Sadness and heartbreak, yet happiness and gratitude. Recently lost a family member in a car accident. He was a family man and had 4 kids, as young as 2. I really appreciate you guys opening up and talking about it. Might not seem like much but it definitely makes a difference, so thank you guys. Marty, sending you all the light and love man. Treat yourself, be kind to yourself, and take it easy. You’ve got a whole community behind you! Keeping you in my thoughts. Stay lifted man.

I'm 22 now and my dad died in december when I was 14. I've been waiting a little until I was ready to watch this. Firstly, Marty, I'm so sorry for your loss. Secondly, a lot of us really appreciate this. Even those who didn't lose someone in December, the holidays are still hard.

Marty I lost my Mom last year in January and I'm still dealing with grief. Much like yours, my mom was responsible for what childhood I had. It fucking sucks, but it will get easier to cope with. Stay strong, I love the podcast and you guys have brought joy to my days. Stay strong..
