  • Ingredients:
    200g granulated sugar
    170g melted unsalted butter
    1 large egg
    200g cake flour
    50g wholewheat flour
    2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 tbsp ground ginger
    1 tbsp ground cinnamon
    1/4 tbsp ground tumeric
    1/4 tbsp garam masala
    1 tbsp vanilla extract
    Extra flour for rolling
    Instructions:
    1. Preheat oven to 175°C. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
    2. Mix melted butter and sugar. Add spices, vanilla and egg, mixing well.
    3. Combine dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt) and gradually add to the butter mixture.
    4. Shape and bake: Roll out the dough (add more flour if needed) and shape in small circles, sprinkle in sugar if desired, place on baking sheet, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
    5. Cool on a wire rack until crisp.

      Hi, did you mix the baking soda with the flour? It shouldn’t taste like baking soda
