btw, I highly recommend this series to everyone! It's not just funny and full of good music, but gave me a sense of calm because it felt like there was no hate towards people but also no forced minority just to make fans happy. The relationships (all of them, from the son-parents to friends to lovers) were genuine and touched my heart in the right way, always. They were not just forced to work. And the music is fire.
I prefer that hug over a kiss any day. What I love about this show is the characters don’t have to kiss in order for us to see the passionate love they share. Alex hugging Willie and Perfect Harmony are great examples.
I love how inclusive this show is, with how they can create such relatable characters, but without making them too cheesy. Alex is gay, but it’s not his entire personality? I love that! The way they include all races without whitewashing, and actually let the masculine characters show emotions, and look human. And the way they show Alex using the drums as a way to cope with his anxiety, I just really want them to dive deeper into that in future episodes. I just love this show so much, I can’t wait for season two!!

btw, I highly recommend this series to everyone! It's not just funny and full of good music, but gave me a sense of calm because it felt like there was no hate towards people but also no forced minority just to make fans happy. The relationships (all of them, from the son-parents to friends to lovers) were genuine and touched my heart in the right way, always. They were not just forced to work.

I prefer that hug over a kiss any day. What I love about this show is the characters don’t have to kiss in order for us to see the passionate love they share. Alex hugging Willie and Perfect Harmony are great examples.
I love how inclusive this show is, with how they can create such relatable characters, but without making them too cheesy.
Alex is gay, but it’s not his entire personality? I love that!
The way they include all races without whitewashing, and actually let the masculine characters show emotions, and look human. And the way they show Alex using the drums as a way to cope with his anxiety, I just really want them to dive deeper into that in future episodes.
I just love this show so much, I can’t wait for season two!!
