Thank you. I think of this as the Jouhikko technique...Back and front pads of the fingers(?). But applied to a full octave on each string. And my own musical interests (sarangi?). When I first heard and saw the Jouhikko, I immediately thought of certain other musical possibilities, things from dreams, and strange places. Horsehair is cantankerous. But does have a sort of rude wile. Which is cool. I am getting to learn all these relationships. Hair, tension, rosin, temperature, moisture....... it is really a gamble sometimes what is going to come out. But it is never wrong about what it says. I however may be a fool trying to make its own language seem intelligible.
@@barefootarts737 I came across your channel because of a comment you made about an 'Amadeus' clip where the musical director of Vienna had told the king that Mozart used 'too many notes' in his music and you made some interesting comments about that clip. So I thought you would quickly recall that. I wasn't trying to insult your music. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
Natural... The five senses! Nice to see you posting your videos.
A special playing style you got. Very nice!
Thank you.

I love the sound that comes from the deeper, boxier body shape.
(I must admit I'm a fan of the Morin Khuur which influences that opinion, lol.)
I'm glad to hear that came through in this recording.
I got into this instrument from listening to the Kazakh Kobyz. Which you might like if you enjoy the sound of the Morin Khuur.
Subbed.
too many notes ;)
@@andyboerger A simple western scale is 8 notes. This is approximately 11 in total. I don't think that is a lot.

@@andyboerger I recognized it. I should've said something. I didn't feel insulted at all. It was me being technical as a form of sarcasm?
