After falling in love with Lucinda on her first Austin City Limits TV broadcast, I saw her live a few months later in an intimate S.E. Portland rock club. She broke up the room when she told us that she saw more old hippies in Portland than in any other city on her tour.
Oh Yeah!! Johnny and George are jammin somewhere out in the universe with another rocker Miss Lucinda Williams at the Abbey Road! Imagine✌️& All you need is❤
This lady gets the beatles jacket; give it up for abbey rd partridge family on Liverpool buttons. Soon through red Robyn. I love “ righteously”. Where can I find it
Marc Ford (lead guitar to the right) is not really a session player. Just a bad ass guitar player who is now in Lucinda's band, at least for the moment.
@@afmartin2734i didn’t recognize him. Old eyes. Met him last year in Toronto. Was at a rehearsal with Albert. Great player. Thanks. He had his custom made guitar with him. It really sounded Excellent.

The band is awesome but she's doing a Zombie version. Not The Zombies but a Zombie. She's monotone thru it. I've heard much better music from her but her singing SUCKS on this. It's criminal to take a Beatles song😢 bc it's a small part of a medley. I've heard it done but it was much more lively. That monotone delivery would fit better maybe on 'Dear Prudence' (ya know about Mia Farrow's sister at that the Maharishi's retreat in early '68. I actually heard 'The Five Stairsteps' of 'O-O-oh Child' fame do 'Dear Prudence' and they made it their own. Verrrry Tasty.
And what happened to the vocals on the break “…All these years, I’ve been wanderin’ around….’? Everyone chose to duck out of that responsibility didn’t they! Being as sincere as I’m able, I just didn’t feel Lucinda had the growl, the vocal projection to make this song nearly as effective as it should have been. For me, it’s more a composition of love won and love lost, the latter certainly tinged with bitterness and relative anger. Lucinda Williams failed to reveal these emotions and her deadpan approach just killed it off. Sorry Lucinda!
Always great musicans on Lucinda' team from day 1.
Lucinda launched a new round of Beatlemania
Bravo!
Younger people can not grasp that age is just a number. It takes forever to hit 21 and then time just flies.
Lucinda is incredible live.
No la vi en directo pero me encanta
What a great drummer
Butch! He's been with her a while now. Used to be in The Eels. Check out Novocaine for The Soul.
Oh, hell yeah! He's perfect on this. But so is everyone else!
Butch is a SUPER deep musician/drummer/percussionist. check out his youtube!
With excellent taste in architects…
@@jefftripolidrums He's the muscle backstage. He watches over Lucinda like a hawk.
I love All Lucinda’s music. Got all her albums. She’s a bad to the bone. Great writer and band leader! Thank you L

She is a treasure for humans all over the planet.

Finally something to look forward to in 2025!

Let’s start how the song starts…MFF! Great cover!
And now, I have a feeling
Oh yeah!
It took a lot of courage to take on the Beatles songs. But if anyone could do it, it would be Lucinda. And she pulled it off.
Love!
Thought she was numb to the feelin' by now. 😂❤
I had a feeling 3 bars in I loved this song! ❤ Oh yea!

Who’s the background female singer?
i'm wondering the same thing.
Loved it. Super tasty.
who are the session players? thanks

She looks DEAD in her eyes & feeling .... LOL..of the lyrics....😮.. just my opinion 😊
She had a stroke in 2020 you 🤡
Two guitarist, both with the same guitar 🤔
The opening sounds like an Elvis Presley song..."Caught in a trap..." And who is the lead vocalist? Somebody who works in the building?
Brutal
Love me some Lucinda Williams, but I am curious...did she have a pulmonary event? Bless you doll. Keep rockin'!
She had a severe stroke. Maybe 4 years ago.
Everyone is allowed one zinger or flop
Next
Not wild about Lucinda’s vocals on this. The band is very good.
Your dillusional. That’s her and her band.
Not even Paulie can sing the bridge anymore.
Love the cover, but no one tries to hit that high note Paul was able to.
What !
Love this ladies music but she is completely expressionless which is sad because that’s a driving tune
She suffered a stroke a few years ago.
Same; Love her, but come on... this is a major fail.
huh?
Well played!! (musicians got the most out of a song that is at best, mediocre.) The drummer is commanding!
No actually I'm it is the man that asked me me to marry him.
I declined.
However scars don't go away. Not in your face.
I love to see the instruments I bought him.out if love
