What are you talking about? Bands have been projecting video footage onto screens for years, and how does that even dilute their "metal" status anyway? What a bizarre comment.
@@NocklesVEVO And of course, there is always a douche bag Gen Z ankle biter like you who wasn't even breathing back then to even know the difference lol
@@southwestxnorthwest Like I said ankle biter. It was before you were even hatched. How could you know what l am talking about when you didn't even exist? Go watch Iron Maiden shows from the 80s and 90s, and Ozzy and KISS shows from the 70s and 80s. Killer stage props, no giant dumb screen, no douches like you holding up their cell phones to post for their 2 friends to see. You kids today don't have a clue what a real live concert experience is about and never will!!
Truly blows my mind seeing the size of the crowds that came to these shows back in the original heyday of nu metal in its prime. At this show you would’ve been lucky to get within maybe 50 feet of the stage and that would’ve been considered crazy close-up. Fast forward 20 years; and I just got to watch them play this same song tonight at a tiny local dive bar instead with the whole band standing no more than a couple feet away from me. Absolutely nuts how much times have changed
They are changing back to the old style, or well almost. You should listen to their new songs 'V is for Vampire' and 'Super Villain' its pure awesomeness, 90% of the music i've listened to the last 3 days has been just 'Super Villain'. It brings back the spacey-PM5K feel again, mixed with the awesome lyrics they usually make.
@TheAH6669 quite simply, the crowd wasn't there for them. That is from Summer Sanitarium Tour in 2000. the line up was: Metallica Korn Kid Rock Powerman 5000 System of a Down Powerman was the 2nd band of 5 to play at each show
Vi una muestra de este video en el mtv cuandl era chico ,junto con limp bizkit tocando en una jaula y gente tirandose de arriba ,gracias por el video recuerdo desbloqueado
@rockatringmaniak Summer Sanitarium Tour - July 4, 2000 Baltimore, Maryland PSINet Stadium (Metallica, Korn, Kid Rock, Powerman 5000, System of a Down)
I like the new PM5K as much as the old stuff. Favorite song is Free but right after is Wild World and Nobodies Real. Of course this list can't consist of When World Collide and Bombshell! Those are songs everyone knows!
Guys please listen to the song "Powerman 5000 - Time Bomb Baby". Its an new song and its their best ever created !!! Heavy, Groovy and fuckin catchy. I cant get it out of my head. I was really impressed of this fuckin amazing song ! Listen to it.
i know. thats the big issue with most live things. you cant really sing lightly with a loud screaming audience, and the adrenaline factor makes a difference.
One of the most under rated bands of the 2000's.
i wish metal shows like these still existed
dunno if i'd call this metal at this point
@@chriscarter8593 Its definitely metal. Don't be a genre nerd!
it'll cycle around
Metallica organised an epic tour - the bill was PM5K, Kid Rock, SOAD, Korn and Metallica. Summer Sanitarium '00 for life!
what tour was this?
Yes they did. I was at this concert. Baltimore ravens stadium. Extremely hot that day
@@NocklesVEVO He said it in the comment, Summer Sanitarium.
Holy Toledo Batman that's lot of people & when things was normal now whole is done gone haywire good luck you'll we will need it in the future
Thank you
These were real Rock/Metal shows!! No big dumb screen in the back, real stage props, no cell phones out, just letting go and being in the moment!!
calm down old man, theyre still real and theyre still fun.

I take a pilgrimage to this holy video every once in a while. I'll always love Powerman 5000!
Literally the only live performance I've ever seen from PM5000.
Why not watch more?
Underrated band, especially their 1995-1997 funk metal time.
the band which has gone through many changes during these years. Still they rock. I love their industrial era the most.
Poor poor generation X. We will never get to see these ever again....😒
PM5K is actually gonna be at sick nee world this year so that's kewl
I'd kill to have spider's wardrobe. He is so badass
I was at this concert, Summer Sanitarium Tour. Was a f@cking fantastic show….closing out was Metallica w fireworks! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

This was Summer Sanitarium 2000. July 4th in Baltimore. It was an awesome show with a great line up :)
Thanks for the info. I was curious.
i forgot how good pm5k was! i love that whole album!
miss the spacesuits man.. But still gotta love'em.
The days MTV was worth watching. It's called ORIGINALITY, they should try it these days.
What the fuck happened to music. MTV use to do shit like this every now and again which was why I like them. Now it sucks.
people pay money to either see a laptop live..... or see a walking plastic doll sing.... shitty
They opened for Korn in 2000, was a wicked ass show.
fck yea awesome performance!!!!!!!
@TheAH6669

@rockatringmaniak Summer Sanitarium Tour - July 4, 2000 Baltimore, Maryland PSINet Stadium (Metallica, Korn, Kid Rock, Powerman 5000, System of a Down)
Man, these guys need to come back to junction SOOON!
@AJKHospy The new album is fantastic! Its the best one since the older stuff.
They went from this to playing clubs? To bad. They played a little corner bar in Lincoln, NE a while back. 250 seater. Ouch
Once you get past this song you go to the bathroom then get a beer and then a nap.
@TheAH6669 they were mainstream when this album first came out. Plus its a festival during the day so they aren't the headlining act
i just wish in the future when i catch their shows, they hit this kinda crowd and music, went from metal to punk almost.lol oh well.
good going wikipedia man
awesome
Cant wait for U Fest!
I like the new PM5K as much as the old stuff. Favorite song is Free but right after is Wild World and Nobodies Real. Of course this list can't consist of When World Collide and Bombshell! Those are songs everyone knows!
to me i think its really beliveable i mean hair and all and then the way they sing
When i thought there was a chance it would keep everybody from arguing lol.
@AJKHospy You should listen to Mega Kung Fu Radio, it's their best in my oppinion.
100%. And True Force is the shit too.
@TwoEyeCyclops Why's that hard? I think they sound so much alike in both their older stuff
i want a rock band powerman 5000 game
Where’s this mtv?
@TheHaZMaTBand true
and he would never be in the shadow of his older brother again
Guys please listen to the song
"Powerman 5000 - Time Bomb Baby".
Its an new song and its their best ever created !!!
Heavy, Groovy and fuckin catchy. I cant get it out of my head.
I was really impressed of this fuckin amazing song !

@DAJstudios i know who powerman 5000 is !
hahaha so true.
Hard to believe thats Rob Zombies brother...
i dont kno anyone who dont kno who pm5k is
when you use all your vocal energy to hype the crowd
i always prefer the live version of songs.
i know. thats the big issue with most live things. you cant really sing lightly with a loud screaming audience, and the adrenaline factor makes a difference.
haha :b
When did mindless screaming start to equal talent?
I love Powerman 5000 and this song, but... I hate to admit that I was a bit dissapointed by Spyder One's live performance in this one :(
Uhuh.
Lol dude...we all love metal and we hate High School Musical and all that crap but we dont need to prove ourself ;) its just creating spam
nope
He was singing too hard. On the album, his voice is smooth.
yea they did not come up with good songs like this they just messed up their reputation their songs suk now
yikes! terrible voice!🎧
