Cool, I just did the Add New Particle Type, I think that is really good for starting from scratch, using what you have shown in this video to learn what is going on, Thanks 👍
Is there a way to control the speed of the particles? I found the SparkyClouds to go very well with an image I was using but it's going a bit to fast for my liking. I'm using the version bundled with Vegas Pro 18 Suite.
Try making the Life parameter longer. This often has the effect of slowing the animation down, as the particles have a longer time to do their movement.
You can take the emitter path directly from a 3D layer (which could be a null) or from one or more Comp lights. What is it you're trying to do exactly?
Which emitters are you using? If you turn on the HUD controls, can you move them around in the viewer? If you have the emitter node selected, the Position controls are about halfway down in the parameters. If you're still having problems, please join us on the forums and post a couple of screenshots. It'll be easier to help you out there : forum.borisfx.com/
@@BorisFXco Thanks for the reply. Emitters I’m using are Dan_alien_eye04 and Radar 04. HUD control is on. I can move freely move positions. The menus for both emitters are greyed out.
I've had a look and can't see anything out of the ordinary with either of these emitters, and they work on my system. This is definitely a job either for Support or the forums, so you can show the problem you're seeing. Screenshots or screen recordings are far easier to diagnose. Why is it free?
Because we're overly generous, and we like to see people using our tools. Enjoy our strange decisions! ✨🎇✨🎇
Wondertouch version could animate emitter by dragging it with the mouse while it`s playbacked. Can it be done with this one?
Yes. Use EDIT or DEFAULT layout. Switch “Auto-Key” button to On and push play. Now you can drag and move emitter.
Too bad it isnt integrated better directly in after effects with null objects for control and such :(

I got two emitters on stage and I can't move them up or down. 🤫
