- This project was produced in back in 2005. It was not only my first foray in to traditional cut-out animation, but my first ever animated project. Once the character models and backgrounds were made, it took me eight hours a day, for one solid week to photograph and animate. I figured I'd share it with you.

@DistantJ I was very aware of the cannibalistic aspects of this version. Hence the meat and "wine", and the animals warning Hood of their nature.
Surreal, deviant and quite, quite wonderful. Has a definite feel of an Angela Carter adaptation. Faved!

Random disburbing fact - in some of the old versions of the story, that meat she's eating is what's left of her grandma. Perhaps you've referenced that here, being that the drink is very red and everything, or perhaps this is news to you, either way it's disturbing as hell. XD
