As a follow up to 'Rise of the Heroes' I've whipped up an orchestral version of the City of Villains login theme.
Written and arranged by OminousVoice.
Nicely done! I've always loved the City of Villains theme song; I used to leave the title screen up and let it play for an hour...
Man, I miss CoH.

Paragon Entertainment provided the updates. NCSoft pulled the plug on an otherwise profitable and functional game that was part-way through the creation of yet another massive update. I stand by Oggie's comment. May they rot in hell. Never Forget.

Loved the video when it first came out. Now I'm a senior in high school with seven years of music experience. Would you be offended if I wrote this on sheet music for my school band to play?

I believe neither side has won. Also during the time of Statesman's death Lord Recluse and his patrons helped the heroes. There is alot of evil that can be done such as wiping out all heroes but then would you have really won? You would have no one else to fight, to have plans ruined, to think about constantly, etc. Same on the other side, if heroes wiped out villains they would not be needed, they require each other to keep in balance. Neither can win without losing as well.

Ominous I know you probably don't remember but I once cought you ingame and I asked you to make a orchestral... or jus Rip and post the theme from the OOOLD CoV character creator, the one that had this theme but in a more energetic and sinister sound.
ah was hoping for a spider-man track, this is awesome tho. Would u consider doing some original music for a short film i'm working on? One of the key scenes i need to make sure has great music will be shot and edited within 3 weeks, up for it?

Without the heroes who are villains? It's Megamind all over again.... have villains actually won? Or will there be a time that being good or evil doesn't matter?
That's a bit harsh for a company that provided you with years of entertainment and constant updates. It's not their fault they had to shut it down.
This is good, but I think that aggressive, blaring, raw brass from the original is more appropriate for the level of camp that the games evoked.
