Thanks again Warro, I have a 350 as my main transportation, I have in excess of 11,000 now and living where I live it’s on as rough a trails as you have shown yours more than capable of, I’m in rural new south as are you, though I haven’t picked quite where yet, I have the military style canvas bags plus the milk crate attached into which you can stack some pudding, it’s the most economical vehicle I have owned in my life.
appears you have had a good run to date with 11,000 on the clock. i once did 10,000 on a C5 but thats the most klm travelled on one bike but i did go through a few...lol
i think you can take most bikes anywhere providing you use a bit of common sense and know when your pushing your luck...lol
on good dirt road they appear to run pretty well and the stock tyres are fine too or i think so.
Don't know how this clip gave me the slip 4 months ago. But I enjoyed it very much just now. An excellent comprehensive breakdown on the 350 Reborn. Great views and commentary throughout. 👍👍

just goes to show you how much the enfield brand has improved. the new classic 350 reborn are very clean motors compared to the old uce 500's
Another great ride Warro, amazing countryside, Funny you should mention the speedo, ,went out on mine today, it's done 900 miles now, and the dreaded speedo fault manifested itself, on a couple of occasions it was actually reading 50mph whilst stationary, and after repeated turning on and off settled down to about 18mph. Luckily, the dealer from whom I bought the bike is only a couple of miles from where I live so I called in on the way home.They were familiar with the issue, and photographed the speedo, and will get it sorted. Fully echo your sentiments about the bike. Stay safe🦄
when it gets to that low speedo reading -give it a couple of minutes rest and then continue and it will work its way back to zero. mine did several times.
I can't remember if I told ya mate, but, I did fall off the fence and landed on the Halcyon Green side. 😁 I put in about 180k or so on Wednesday. Went through some lovely rain showers (wet season in Thailand) and down a few dirt roads, all handled by the 350 quite nicely. 👍 Loving it!
Nice work and i think a very good choice. if by chance Enfield ever upgrade it to a 500 - it would really take some beating in all areas.

@@terrycavender yeah i think its loud enough. a few years back i had sports exhausts on every 500- manly so i couldn't hear the engine rattle.
these are much much quieter bikes in that area so pretty happy there
WARRO MY HERO!! I've done it! I picked up my Signals Marsh Grey! I'm certain I wouldn't have done if not for your videos and wonderful honest reviews. I've actually woken up happy. Funny thing, it started to rain just when I was getting on the bike to pull away from the dealership. I realized I'm in love with the bike and I've made the commitment. It's supposed to be good luck for rain on a wedding day so maybe. How about, the Angels we're crying tears of joy I'd actually done it? It was a fantastic ride home!! Wet and happy. The sun came out brilliant as I rode on, 15 minute ride but Heaven!
I mounted a tacho like yours, thanks for the video. Running it in exactly as you suggest. I watched your video on the gear shift lever. I will change to the heel shift when available but is the toe bit extended on your heel-toe shift. This lever is short for my feet. Sorry, had ask.

Very nice informative video. I have one of the last classic 500’s which i love (for the looks) but i have changed a lot of things to make it a bit more comfortable. I am now sure that the 350 is way more superior in terms of comfort after i did some testrides. I don’t want to get rid of the 500 so i guess i have an RE collection in the future 😂

I've only been riding just over a year, and passed my full license back in March, not long after the 350 was launched here in the UK. I feel super lucky to have found these awesome machines so early in my riding journey...only my second bike, the first being my 125 learner 😁
Like you, I've had the speedo issue, a few times, but it's not stuck now for a few weeks, riding in all temperatures and distances. So, I'm going to leave mine as is and see how it goes. Thankfully, my dealer isn't far away if it does play up again. We shall see. Ooh, and my touring seats and spring kit literally just arrived in the post. Time to get the tools out!
Take it easy mate. You hit the nail on the head perfectly. You look at these bikes and say I'm going to take you for a ride today, and do it with a smile on your face 🙂
true-they are indeed a nice set of wheels to be on. i did about 60 klm on it today -the green one and fitted the touring seat.
i think much better to ride and even better seeing i did the rear shock swap and put a set of used 500 on it
@@ridewithwarro I'll have a think about those shocks too. Never mind going off road, the tarmac roads around me are shocking enough. Like a roller coaster on some of them!
@@DoomNedwob they may be an option for you at a later date. i think they are far better than stock. you should notice some diffence in the ride with touring seat too. plus a tad more comfortable too
Watching a review on the new BSA Goldstar, I liked the way you could remove the baffle undoing two screws. I don’t like loud bikes but I do like being seen and heard, where you’re not making too much noise.
not sure if it will come here but if so i'd say it will run at around aud$12k at a guess

that may come at a later bate and if so i may do it on one of them and keep the other one on more full road tyres
Away from the capitals, Oz is pretty much as it was 50 years ago. I used to live in the very far west of Vic, close to the SA border and, roads-wise, nothing of significance has happened over that time. As you say, we still need a bike/car that's reliable, coz if it breaks, it can be a really long wait or walk for help. Re ruber-mounting the sump-guard, I'd try rubber grommets.
yeah how true! i actually picked up a packet of rubber grommets today so will see how that idea goes.

Great reviews. I was wondering if you could confirm something for me. I'm about to buy a 2022 Marsh Grey Signal model and want the panniers. Are the pannier mounting racks the same for the Marsh Grey as the standard Classic Reborn? Thanks.
all the reborns use the same rack. i bought this set off ebay. plenty there just make sure its for the 350 reborn-not the 350 classic
That was a very thorough review and commentary regarding your 350's. You mention that the stock tires are pretty good for the type of riding that you have been doing. What brand and type of tires come with the 350s?
yeah to be honest im starting to get sick of doing these long reviews with good info and very little views. i see a new format coming soon where i will just load any crap and say nothing.
tyres fitted are just the cheap ceat and i thought they would be rubbish but good all round at a bargain or for ceap tyres.
i once put k70's on a C5 and it immediately raised the seat height never really got to test them but they had a nice tyre pattern
very similar pattern was on tyres i put on a ct125 and it climbed dirt roads extremely well with very little power on tap.
Hey Warro, in the manual, the tyres are listed as Ceat (METZELER). I have bought a Halcyon grey, and have done 85 careful kilometers on it in 3 days in beautiful South Gippsland. Not sure what I like best, riding it or staring at it. Gary. 🥰
It would be very interesting to hear your long-term review of the Zontes GK 350, the latest bike by the Chinese auto company.
Its engine design emphasis is on performance - which includes lightness - so may not be for DIY maintenance like Royal Enfield is.
never heard of that bike here. ive got another kawasaki klx150 arriving soon. i think its the pick of the duel sport bikes ive had over the past 3 or 4 years.
sold the first last year but sort of regretted the move. so should have a new one within days.
its been on back order now for 4 months but schedule end july/early august.
@@ridewithwarro - Zontes has been in Spain for a couple years, there's a U.K. importer now, and they're entering the Indian market. I'd expect to see them in Oz pretty soon.

Hi Warro. Curious to know what made you decide to keep the blue bike over the Marsh grey? Was it purely the look or did it come down to the handling after the run in? You mentioned the blue has longer legs on the higher speeds, was this because you put more Kms on it? I won’t be doing higher speeds very often but want to know it can if warranted.
makes no difference which one you go for all the 350's run the ran except the hunter which has a much better tune and more low down get up and go. apart from that i found the halcycon the more eye appealing and therefore the main ride.
the other one was just bought in as a reserve in case i had issuies with the grey. afterall i owned 15 new classic 500's and knew those bikes well
that is the reason i bought 2 of these but in reality the haycyon grey performed 100% and bike two was not required
Just a question Warro ! Did you try riding the Himalayan ! I believe it’s very good as well for these roads your doing …. I may buy it as a second bike … I already got the halcyon black … but still I eye the Himalayan lol
had the himalayan and too heavy plus other things. thats why i bought a new kawasaki klx150 - a good 60 kgs lighter and a real beast on the dirt.
i had one last year-sold it and now re-buying.

@@christyfernandez7841 well look at it this way-over the past 3 years ive had new himalayan/ honda crf300l/honda crf250l/honda crf190/2 honda ct125's/kawasaki klx230 kawasaki klx150 and i'd rate the klx150 best ride and thats why i decided to buy one again.

Also....pipes are great as is... sound wise ...but they are quite heavy...whatdya recom. for replacement....
Also....knuckleheads say "loud pipes save lives"...they dont....they startle drivers and create bad feelings towards mc riders............college coeds state "louder the pipes...the smaller the johnson".....

those rear racks are all over ebay under harley davidson rear luggage racks for about aud$60. if by chance you are talking about the saddlebag racks they too are on ebay under luggage racks for classic 350 reborn.
pretty happy with stock exhaust so have looked no further there

Supercheap might have rubber grommets for Sump plate.
actually got a packet of them so plan to try em out. ive got slime for tubed tyres in the blue bike but have a can of punture repair for the green
@@ridewithwarro Slime is one of those hit & miss products.Can work & last for years & also upset the balance.The Spray can one you might need 2 cans for a 18" tyre so get the largest can you can find or you'll need like 1 1/3 small one's.
Spray can are for more for getting you home at 60-70kmh.

For a newcomer to the world of Royal Enfield, would you recommend classic 350 or an Interceptor 650?
really hard call there. both weigh in at roughly the same weight so no issues there but i do feel the 350 is better to move about.
power/smoothness and the ability to cover long distance goes to the 650
personal opinion here but i think the looks go to the 350 as it looks/ appears to look much older. its no-where near as quick to ride but a really fun free and good feeling bike to ride.
if you just want to run 100 klm runs at a time or just run about town the 350 would be fine.if you plan long distance runs of say 500 klm or so the 650 eats up miles with very little effort.
in my case i'd go 350 as i dont ride far and i like its character. it will run distance but will be knoocked about on the hills where the 650 would just bowl them over with ease.
so hopefully some of those answers may help you out
