Ogenj is only one that might exceede - they say they've prepared great and energetic stage performance which could result in good package for esc crowd if it wins
That would take some and maybe serious portion of televote, doubt jury points... this might be interesting as its extremely local, it has very oldschool melody but folks like such, curious about the show
@@JanBors the climate in Croatia currently shows that it will battle between Ogenj and Magazin. Magazin is one of the most popular mainstream pop bands (35+years on scene) and it will sure have votes both jury and audience. Ogenj on the other hand could take the win if they deliver good performance, considering they are not mainstream band and last year we had Baby lasagna that also came from anonimity. Magazin with this song would strugle a lot to go through the finals, I personaly heard the song 3 times it doesn't stay in my mind. Ogenj has the whole package if they do it right - good and catchy song with ethno and punk/rock elements, visualy interesting and energetic - it's what people vote for. Marko Bošnjak can surprise with shock staging, so if he wins (small chances) can maybe go to finals
🐟🐟@@Lumpicikagazg
Idk why but ‘Welcome to the Circus’ and ‘NPC’ really stand out to me and have the potential to be much better live. Also, Fenksta, the ‘extra’ stand in is an active member of r/Eurovision and so is a major player in the Eurovision community, so good to see him here! He is a super humble and smart guy and even held a thread where we could suggest staging concepts!
Something bothers me is the fact that all countries are giving their best this season (except for Spain and Greece), but if there is no catch, then I am only happy. For me, here is a clear top 6 hits. 1 Marko Bosnjak - Poison Cake 2 Matt Shaft - Welcome to the circus 3 Ogenj - Give, give 4 Luka Nižetić - Južina 5 Ananda - Lies Lay Cold 6 EoT - Bye, Bye, Bye
imo only country (did not hear full malta yet) who rly have super strong selection is so far latvia, others have 1-2 competetive songs in terms of Eurovision. After all this is all you need if people select those songs.
@JanBors Maybe I had low expectations, but I really have at least 2 songs in the same Croatia that can really win over the average Eurovision viewer, and that's Marko Bosnjak and Ogenj
imo we will have again very similar situation as last year in general at Eurovision. Lots of songs made for public voters - as an eurovision effect, least real quality or even hits. F.e. from this lost only Ananda can become a music hit. Marko can be like Bambie last year, effect on stage for a great result maybe, but thats it.
@JanBors Well, maybe, and I do not argue that last year there were many applications for televote and I would really like to return to the stage of 2014-2019, when the overall quality of the song was important for Eurovision, and not its brightness. But honestly? Overall I have a feeling this will be the strongest Eurovision since 2019 as seriously most countries seem to be giving out 2 heads more than usual except Spain and Greece
Somehow I get the feeling that you're too caught up in your role as a jury member, and even when you say something positive there's so much negative that in the end you get the feeling that you think every song is really bad. Yes, even if you say at the end that you're surprised by the quality, the negative outweighs the positive. I'd like to highlight Martha May as an example. She's a really likeable girl and I think a lot of of her, but unfortunately she's not going to win any prizes with the audience with this song. It may be that the expert hears something that the common people don't, but that misses the mark. By the way, for a small country like Croatia it's important that Dora has 24 participants, otherwise 20 of them wouldn't get a chance to present themselves to the home audience! For me… I like really a lot of the songs and 90% is singing in Englisch but the most of it will work just better or fall with the stage performance. So I must see the semifinals to make my decision! Thx a lot for your reaction clip and best wishes from the Adriatic coast and I hope you don't take offense at my criticism because it is not meant to be malicious ;)
Hey! Thank you! I actually take zero offense, this is what I like a proper discussion and different point of view. Let me explain mine a bit more. As a professional and also perfectionist, I rly look at it from this perspective - as a director, as a producer as a juror. I am not looking at it as a fan to like everything just for the sake liking it. I see many things which might be great and have potential but also risks. This is after all part of my job to name it. And this is also a value of my channel, to give those opinions out as anyone else is not doing it. Of course it mostly sounds sceptical, but if you watch my channel properly long term, you would understand :) All the best!
@can @ I understand you completely and it's good to hear from someone from the "other" side! Because only if we are willing to listen to each other we can broaden our horizons.

its in separate video :)
Ananda the best 😊😊😊😊
All songs are meh, flat and dated
no all of them
