      The way to make Arabic coffee is to boil down the coffee powder in a pod and pour it to the very top of the cup.

    • @mssara6589
      @mssara6589  9 років тому +1

      bunny gene dear bunny you can add as many as you want, if you like the strong cardamom flavor you can add up to 2 table spoons of uncrushed cardamom pieces, usually i put one table spoon on one liter of coffee. you can put your cardamom in plastic bag and crush them with any hard object, thats what i do usually to avoid cleaning the grinder:) p.s. be careful to mush cardamom can cause stomach ulcers. Ramadan kareem :D

    • @mssara6589
      @mssara6589  9 років тому +1

      zainul777 hello my dear the coffee beans that am using is just a regular coffee beans, the difference between arabic and american coffee for example is the way of roasting, for arabic coffee especially in the golf area the raw green beans are roasted until becomes golden yellow unlike coffee beans that is used to make different espresso drinks, such as americano, where they roast coffee until beans become dark brown. where to buy depends on where you live however you can always find raw coffee beans and roast it at home until becomes golden yellow:) please let me know if you have any questions.

      It's "Arabica coffee beans". Buy it green, unroasted, and roast to a golden color, light roast. Grind coarse to help filter the beans afterward. The recipe is precize except for the ginger. Ginger is used in some regions only but mainstream it's without ginger.

    • @orionbassmaster666
      @orionbassmaster666 7 років тому +2

      Arabica beans is the variety most available in the west ( its a Columbian hybrid of the original yemeni blend) go for a medium roast and if not available get the raw green bean and just toast them on a non oiled/non stick pan for 15 to 20 mins on low heat until you get the roast grade you prefer( mind you Arabic coffee varies with the country and there is no such thing as a single standard) then grind and boil with fresh cold water then reduce to a simmer and add your aromatics ( clavo de olorx3, Cardamomo x 6, azafrán x 6) and salute enjoy.

    Found be flavour odd and just too spice centred and the coffee not deep enough
    Fast forward 5 years had it again and surprisingly liked it,so much so I’m here trying to figure out how to have it
    I think it’s part changes to my pallet and partly nostalgia

      Habibty, personally I honestly don't use Safran not for the price of it or the money or whatever... I just don't do it because I think it's to strong, I rather use Safran only in the food instead and for the Qahwah or Shai instead I use always Cardamom and Cloves and Sweet Herb leaving it boiling for about couple minutes too. Lastly and finally, I serve it with honey 🍯and a bit of cinnamon powder on the top (but, really just a bit!!!).
      It tastes like Heaven, especially with dates and chocolate 🍫 absolutely wonderful 🤩

    I think this is what I am looking for. I went to Saudi and they serve coffee but it taste like a tea, and they grind it fresh, I am looking for the recipe, it is not sweet just kind of bitter tea, but they love it. I want to make it do you know if this is it, the color looks the same. Thank you

      Muharram Bint mmm! it is bitter but to me it has nothing to do with the taste of tea, however my Taiwanese friend told me that it does taste like some kind of tea that is known in Asia. please let me know if you would like to know anything else :)

      This has a totally different taste, I didn't quite understand your question, but to make this arabic Saudi style you need a golden yellowish coffee beans.
