Afon Ddu: My 4th attempt at the steepest climb ever!

4th time lucky?! 😂
Come along to see me attempt to climb the Black River climb: Afon Ddu here in North Wales!
Will I finally beat my nemesis or will I have to chalk it up to (yet another!) failure?!

I came across your videos recently when I was looking at rides out of Chiang Mai. Other than being well made, entertaining and inspiring, they are a little daunting. Not trying to inflate your tyres, but I know some of those roads and rides out of Chiang Mai and you are more than a bit handy on a bike. I've looked at the back road run to Pai and wondered if it is possible - now I know that it is but I'm not sure if I can ! When I see you getting to the limit on this video, I'm thinking "well I wouldn't have got that far". Keep up the great work and again, thanks for the content.

I’ll have another stab at the back road to Pai sometime….it really is a killer. It’s possible to do it over two days as well
