John and Ken from Kicker's Tech Force install a massive marine system in this Moomba. #KickerAudio #MarineAudio #Moomba Kicker Marine Gear:www.kicker.com...
John or Ken, this would be a great video just to mention on Kicker UnMasked again. I can't believe that it has so few views... first time I came across it and I watch everything related to Kicker. Demo and "install bay" stuff is always pertinent and a great 'watch'.
After watching the video it seems as though you have more speakers then you have channels on your amps. I may be wrong. I just bought a boat that had about the same setup but they had 2 or the speakers sharing the same channels on the amp. Which if I’m not mistaken is a no no and reduces the watts going to the speakers.
Love this video, I want to do the exact same thing in my Tige 21v, very similar scenario, replacing the original system. can you recommend an installer near New Braunfels tx?
Thanks! And yes, we can help with finding a dealer. Click this link, enter your zip code and the system will do the rest. All of the dealers that carry marine products will have an anchor icon in the lower right hand corner: www.kicker.com/dealer-locator
Would any way you can post the wiring diagram for the two battery banks with the acr? Also can you show a quick run through of final install tracking your wiring to power the amps (didn’t see the ground and how tied to the boat engine/accessories ground)
Unfortunately UA-cam doesn't allow a wiring diagram to be posted here in the responses, but if you email support@kicker.com, they can send a diagram to you.
Can you actually show the hooking up of the head unit? I am trying to tie this into my boats current sound system without messing anything up and there’s nothing about the non-powered hook up that I can find to power the unit
I already have 2 amps. One of which is currently hooked up to the cabin speakers. It’s a kicker unit too but I’ve found nothing about hooking this up without using the powered hook up
I believe I would just use the RCA outputs to hookup to the amps and powered subwoofer but don’t know how I would get power to the head unit in that setup
Check out pages 7-8 in this PDF. The wiring technique is the same, regardless of what LED-equipped Kicker product you have: www.kicker.com/files/manuals/48BTCAN65.pdf
This could be a grounding issue, but sight unseen its hard to tell. The best thing to do is contact Tech Support. They are open weekdays from 8-5 cst. You can reach them at 405-624-8510 or by email: support@kicker.com.
Instead of butt connectors, you should think about using Deutsch connectors. Much quicker to install, much quicker to replace when a speaker or trim ring goes bad. Not that one of your products would ever fail, just saying.
You know, I really hate when my nuts are sticking, but finger tight is always great too, though I wonder will antiseeze help lube it up if it's too tight?!?
My freaking guy KEN! I remember when he was my lead installer at Best Buy. What a guy.
Nice work - radio and boat look great!

Great suggestion!
Im an installer and we use a lot of kicker towers and kicker speakers in our marine applications.
Great to hear!

It is possible to put multiple speakers on a single channel. This drops the ohm load, which increases the power output.

I know of a certain ‘07 Sea Ray 250 SLX that would be perfect for your next stereo upgrade video… 😂

For the RGB wire how did you run them back to power. Did you run them in parallel?

thank youuu!!@@KICKER-AUDIO
what brand is the wake tower?
Ken👊🏼
is it normal for my tower speakers to have some low static noise when stereo is muted or turned to 0?

Not trolling or trying to start a brand war.. but why would you remove Wetsounds equipment and replace it with kicker?
They are a kicker dealer, apparently. Likely an upgrade in power and performance over the OEM wetsounds, hence the upgrased electrical systems.
Listen to them head to head. Then decide.

Sounds like a personal problem.
@@KICKER-AUDIO Indeed, but at least Im not alone and you guys solved it with the antiseeze so its worth a try!! ;)
