This fix will not cover or apply in all cases.
In my case i had 2 units in a row with same fix, so i decided to make a video.

How can I fix my rns-510 which is showing a mostly pink display in horizontal and vertical lines?
Is it possible to change the backlight?
My screen is so dark that I can hardly see anything when it's sunny outside, even though the screen is set to maximum brightness.
I am also wondering if you know if it is CCFL or LED illuminating the backlight unit?
Hi, there 2 types of screens used in RNS510, on both you can change backlight. My advice is to replace the screen screen entire and not go directly for backlight only. Model from this video is CCFL the newer model is LED.
What is the solution when the screen works on other rns and others screens seems to have the same issue (white screen) ?
Hello, is it same for issue, that colors are mixed? Everything works fine, but only colors are weird
Hello, it can be the chip itself because that chip is managing the image for RNS LCD, i never changed for mixed colors, but you can give a try.
I have a head unit in toyota vitz 2008.. the screen is very bright with very dim icons.. i cannot reduce the brightness. Please tell me what can be the problem

Hello, the screen of my VW stereo flickers, turns on and off constantly and when I enter the radio or any menu, I only see the buttons but the texts cannot be seen. Could you help me? tanks

Hi, this case was 390C with 45% air flow. I use hot air 360-400C in general but i change air flow base on needs
Say man I've got an Infiniti that will white screen and have diagonal lines for a while. Once I'm driving for about 5 to 10 minutes it cuts into worki g properly until I kill the vehicle

Hi, its quite hard to diagnoze without have the unit. But anyway after is working..you kill the car and start again in short time unit is working properly ? I think there are some bad solder joints or capacitor…. Or it can be some component fails when it is cold…
So just replacing the screen or the lcd board should have same effect, right?

Hello Radu, well i have some ideas, did you connect via serial to unit ? ( open serial debug to see log from unit if is booting and where stucks ) maybe some flash is bad s29al016 or s29gl032. But most important how it ended in this state

Well i had this issue in past, i have solved with SetConfig, i don’t think you are able to repair with RNS Manager( my experience with RNSMgr is limited )
my RCD510 have white screen like in this video, but if i remove the battery cable or car parked for 24 hours or so after that its open totally fine but after few minutes it gets blurred then pink and then completely white, it started when i sent the car to fix the aircon and they found leak in evaporator and they removed all dashboard to replace it. any solution for this issue?

No, its only reflow ( resolder ) the chip.

Hello, for Black Screen can be multiple cause of failure, SW Fail or HW fail some debug steps need to be follow

I don’t have a link for that failure, but on next unit with black screen i will try to make an video and post it, but i don’t know when. Try to reflow first board on top side and see results.

Hello, at Android units does not work this solution, but there from my experince can be an issue with ribbon cable or socket but you need to all checks in order to can fix.
Mine turns white due to heat, everything is working. Is it possible to fix?

Im sorry, unexperienced on this. What is the fluid u used? It seems to me it is to attach it back to the motherboard.
It is soldering flux to remove oxide. If you don`t know about flux my advice do not attempt to resolder de IC.
