Love these videos. I did this walk a couple of weeks before you and loved it. I was told it’s an easy walk, I disagree with this comment😕 Some tough sections but still one of my favourites. I roughed it and wild camped all four nights. Keep up the good work sir!
Not sure which I laughed at more, the sight of your visage after a night's camping or the discussion with the devil about his, well, let's leave it there. Is a lovely stretch of the South Downs Way when less breezy, I promise. Thanks for brightening up the last day of week's holiday. CD#123
I had wondered where those pants had got to, Marek. On a day like that, I can see a lot of people wanting soup. I hope you still have your soul. Thanks for the walk and film, Dude xxx
In all the places I've walked, I've never been anywhere with so many pigs in one location. It almost deserves a designation on the map. I think I said a passing 'hello' to the farmer there but disappointingly, he didn't have a farmer's accent. I also meant to add yesterday that I was reading an article about walking poles and how, among other benefits, their help you to burn 20% more calories than walking without! Good to see you crossing the halfway point. A good night's sleep is a rare thing in any camping experience! All the best and looking out for part five tomorrow.
Straight on to day four of the binge rewatchathon. Camping boo, glamping is more acceptable. I’d hate to be tired on a walk like this. I think I’d have to do a B&B. Have to laugh at Marek blending in with the crowd of sheep by chewing. 😆👍
I admire your resilience Marek. It is a beautiful area though, it has so much history connected to 1066. There are some amazing churches with interesting history in that area. There is a chap called Richard Vobes who does alot of walking in that area , you should check out some of his vids for ideas. I really enjoy your stuff and wish there was more of it.
Love how the subtitles think you're saying "...touch my clankton betties." Possibly my favourite sentence in existence. Another great video! I feel for your windy sufferings.
The pants are a celebratory flag for those who are past half-way! Endurance over speed any day in that wind, although you may develop a prevailing lean battling that wind for days on end! Well earned B&B!
Really enjoying this Marek, to be honest mate if you are anything like me (not a fan of the heat and sun) i reckon you did this in the perfect time of year, imagine having to do this walking in the baking bloody sun, i reckon that would be hell. Bowl of soup for my soul! - no way, Booze maybe, but soup can get lost!
I agree soup is a bad exchange for the soul. Maybe soup was nicer in the olden days. I agree about the weather, I don't think I could have done some of the longer days in the summer with a heavy pack.
Pretty sure Alesteir Crowley and Victor Neuburg, big fans of Chanctonbury Ring, woulda given up on Thelema if they had the option of joining the club and staying cool.
It is great up there. When I sat down for lunch I felt exhausted, but after I sat there for 20 minutes I felt oddly re-energised. The magic of the Chanctonbury Ring. Unfortunately I can only say it correctly 50% of the time.
Love watching your daily videos, thankyou! Great background music too!
Thanks cool dude.

Thanks Anthony. Hope you had a good holiday.
The misery was as thick as a hefty bag this episode. Weary winds. Fairy curses. Still loved every moment. Thanks Marek.
I loved the Chanctonbury Ring though.
Loving these...great way to spend a snowstorm, watching daily Marek videos.
A snow storm!!!!
@@cdwc Not that bad, we only got 4 more inches.
So beautiful place. Thanks my friend
Thanks cool dude.

I had already sold my soul doing some tv shows.
@@cdwc So you missed out on the soup then. xxx

I say good night's sleep. I reckon maybe six hours. Mainly from exhaustion I reckon.
@@cdwc I'm a long term insomniac. Six hours would be a dream... Good or bad, as long as I didn't wake up in that time!

@@cdwc Lol
Have to visit the South Downs someday..!! Nice video Marek
Worth a visit especially the second half of it.
Crying with laughter!

The subtitles are regularly funnier than what I actually say. Ha.
@@cdwc Nooooo not regularly. Just the odd occasion. Hah.

From now on when I get to the halfway point of any walk I am going to leave pants hanging to the nearest barbed wire fence.

Remember folks, every time you see Marek walking artfully into the distance, he has to walk back and pick his camera up again! :)
My camera walks to me.
@@cdwc haha, good luck for the rest of the trip! Some impressive mileage you've been covering :).
The pigs were definitely the highlight. I mean, the video is great, but those pigs!!
Mareks not lying joining The Cool Dudes walking club has increased my height by 2 inches but lowered my average walking speed to 2mph.
Walking slow is a real skill.
Pretty sure Alesteir Crowley and Victor Neuburg, big fans of Chanctonbury Ring, woulda given up on Thelema if they had the option of joining the club and staying cool.

chanctonbury ring! love that place did a whole project about it for uni, don't think i got a good grade for it

Editing takes longer than doing the walk itself. Don't worry episode five is out at 11 tmw.
I think you will find that those pants belonged to 'The Badger'.
Of course. He wouldn't need to wear pants with all the sheep action he was getting.
Minestrone - the devils soup
Ha. I agree.
Dear Marek, how do you go to the toilet when walking? Number 2 preferably
You have to take a trowel with you. Luckily all the places I stayed had facilities for your business.
@@cdwc you must have very good control
I'd worry a bit seeing pants next to a field of sheep.
🐑
They were the badger's pants.
I'm surprised Burpham wasn't a contender in the place names contest especially as you can say it whist burping !
High Titten another contender!

PIGGIES!
They are probably all dead by now. Sadly
@@cdwc I guess bacon is OK...
To be fair I’ve climbed a few hills then lost my under pants. It was a real problem till I discovered not wearing underwear.
Bushrangers wear two pairs of pants.
@@cdwc or I could trick the wind by wearing one pair on my head. That pair blows away and then I run away really fast.

Synchronised chewing!😂 Clearly, you just aren't cool enough for the Synchronised Chewing Club!
