    This video should be called "Why you don't need a 300"....

      Yeah 125/200 can do nearly everything a 300 can do, on the track, but still they are if controlled by racers like Billy Bolt the 300 s are far more powerful and a bit faster

    Hey man loved the video and I've watched 100's but this one is good. I ride a Honda XR650R but grew up riding 2-Smokes. Actually still have my 1993 Kawasaki 125cc that was raced in the AMA Supercross in Anaheim California. I was just thinking of selling them both and getting something newer but after watching this my KX125 is staying and getting rebuilt for off-road use. The XR650R is a blast out in the desert but I think its time to let that one go! Great Vid! 2_Smokes_4_Life

    Wattsy making the 125 look like a 300 with how much time it spends with it's front wheel in air.. Amazing! How many times do you have to ride a trail to have the confidence to hit it that hard?

    For a first effort, not bad. You could probably cut the first minute and a half, it's just filler. Cut it tighter, there's just too much of the same material. Check out some of the industry editors like Full Moto Films, MCD, Ride HQ, Four oh Four, Motology etc. Can see where you're heading, a bit more polish is what it needs. Stick to it, looking forward to some more. Of course, awesome riding as usual, GO WATTSAY!

      I actually liked the opening showing the setup and warmup. Made it seem more real and made me want to ride.

    • @Spoffster
      @Spoffster 7 років тому +1

      The bike setup is different, a bit of juxtaposition between the beat-up fuel can and filling a brand spanker, but the opening Powerpoint presentation is less than riveting. I also found it hard to watch repeated mid jump camera changes, it broke the flow. The multiple long distance fade ins, reminded me of budget travel shows, not normally what you'd associate with a high energy sport like dirtbiking. However I loved the slow-mo slide over the go-pro, and the full noise on the back wheel corner was rad. I'm not razzing the effort, it's a good attempt and I want to see more (an awesome rider like Wattsy is always great to watch), just making some suggestions to polish it up a bit. If the editor isn't interested, it doesn't matter.

      thanks for the feed back, yeah it was actually my first time ever filming with a DSLR just the single camera too , only had the day to shoot the whole lot and I was learning as I went lol, as for the story line, Shane had specific story to tell being a fresh bike etc I learnt alot in course of the day and the next video should be the next level again with new equipment arriving and some experince under my belt now I believe I will be stepping it up :)

      I'd rather avoid copying everyone else. I think this video was great as is, especially the slow pacing and "long" shots.

    • @boss302gorie8
      @boss302gorie8 7 років тому +6

      thats right,you dont even ride,if you think 125s are for teens and females try riding one fast. it will wear you out in no time. a guy i used to ride with was a former junior MX champ,he got a YZ 125 for trail riding and no one could get near him,he was 38 at the time,and if you get a 300 or 500 for your first bike it will probably be your last,as it will spit you off and chew you up in no time,anyway,enough talk,im going for a ride!

      @@boss302gorie8 i ride a dual sport husqvarna te 125 4t, i know how fast 125 2 strokes go, much harder than that 4 stroke 125 shit, but still u can get a 300 as first enduro bike, just don t hit it that hard in the beginning or it will kill u, cause the 300 s have (for 2 stroke s) enough torque on low rpm s so u just don t hit it that hard, and already drove a 300 husaberg te from a buddy in town
