this is the first time I am commenting on Prathamesh's singing after seeing this video. but i think prathamesh should focus more on riyaz ..rather than stage shows. Many people including me have huge hopes from him. i hope this msg from his fan reaches him
Yes he is very good. but problem in todays generation is they are in hurry. Pt. bhimsen joshi did not become what he was overnight, if you listen to his early days old concerts. It is ok in those so called TV shows like Indian Idol etc. But not in serious classical music.
It's ok I also agree but at least he is learning classical music and look at others .they are just running behind that Bollywood music and trying to become hero overnight .At least Prathmesh is not doing that at least.He is trying to carry forward the abhijaat Indian classical music and from my point of view it is enough.
So you should appreciate him and don't discourage him he will become bhimsen joshiji like in future we have to wait and watch
Er.Mahesh Ketkar - why he should become like Pt. Bhimsen ? Why not he should stay Prathamesh Laghate ? He is unique and should nurture, develop and master his own style. Pt. Bhimsenji was unique. I think more riyaz and less stage shows would help. And I am not discouraging him. I want him to be the best and unique unlike other artists who have similar skills but are now only performing on stage singing old songs and nothing of their own.
@@ratnadeepkhatate7615 I agree but my point is at least he is learning and developing his skills in classical traditional Indian music which is the soul of Indian music so what I am saying is he is different and I agree he should concentrate more on riyaz not more on stage show so that he will reach his desired destination and I am sure he has the potential to do so thanks for the reply!!
