And finally…all of your projects are absolutely awesome! The snowman is fantastic and since my wife is with Christmas the way I am with Halloween, I’m going to surprise her with this. You’re a remarkable man and I thank you for showing all of your creativity. And Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Thank you for your service Norman. I appreciate your kind comment. I am also a Halloween fanatic, it is my favorite holiday. I’m sure your wife will love this! Merry Christmas!
This is my next project I'm going to make. I currently we t to Lowes to buy all the pipes and things I needed for the life size nutcracker. Hopefully I do it justice and can make it good. I love all these life size projects. I normally light up my whole street at Christmas ⛄🎄 my neighbors are grinches and don't put anything out. I gota put the Christmas ⛄🎄 spirit out for everyone lol
I do hope it comes out amazing. I love my nutcrackers! If you need any assistance or have any questions about any of the projects I made, you can reach me on Facebook @ “Isaac Alexander DIY”. I’m so happy that you get into the Christmas spirit, I wish more neighbors would!
Oh Issac you are so good at explaining. I think I want to make one to stand outside my apartment door until I can get in my new house. My grandkids will be in awe.
I try to explain things in a way that I would understand. I like clear and simple instructions lol. I think it would look amazing outside of your apartment door
How do you get lights lit out on your lawn. I am so excited. My husband after months of looking for a house that toy soldiers can stand outside the door he wants a farm. Say what? Well my patient realtor found me the most spectacular property. I am so excited I get a whole barn to craft in. But I am not sure how they light up on the lawn?
Thank you for serving! I am a Marine Corps Veteran (16 yrs). Your videos are outstanding and easy to follow. Thank you for the projects and your time and detail you put into your videos.
Am I the only one who can’t get the song “Winter Wonderland” out of his head?!? ❄️ The masterpieces a creative, talented man like Isaac is capable of producing from a few cans of expanding foam are truly remarkable! Where can you find a 7 foot tall realistic outdoor glowing snowman that’s also beautiful and affordable? ☃️ Isaac, I love the energy and enthusiasm you bring to each of your tutorials. You are obviously having fun, and the feeling is contagious. 🙂 This project is one I could definitely tackle. After all, you make it look so easy. Your detailed explanations and video / editing expertise allow your viewers to take on each project with the confidence that the same look you created is attainable. Thanks for that, man. The footage of your glowing snowman at the conclusion of your video is absolutely beautiful! Amazing work, as always! 🙌
Thank you so much for the super kind and wonderful comment. I’m glad my energy and enthusiasm is translated through this video. I love doing these tutorials to help other people create wonderful Christmas decorations. The ending shots and when the moon comes out, as well as the music do give me such nostalgic Christmas vibes
So cute, clever, and mostly, doable. All your creations are so well thought out and explained so thoroughly that even someone with minimal skills can make them, not to mention using easily available and affordable items. Thanks again for all the work and planning you put into the builds and the videos. You really care and it shows. I hope you and those you hold dear enjoy an awesome Christmas season. I'm about to put the finishing touches on my pool noodle lollipops. Been looking at them for years but it was your video that convinced me to finally make them. The neighborhood kiddos are going to be thrilled. Off to order some beach balls...
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment that you’ve left me, Diane. It’s really wonderful whenever I get feedback and I appreciate that you took the time to write all that. I’m glad my pool noodle video helped motivate you to make them. Merry Christmas and if you need any assistance just leave me a comment and I’ll help in anyway I can
This is an amazing project and so much fun thank your for sharing your Christmas decorations with us I can’t wait for the big reveal have a wonderful week 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank You... Just ordered materials to make your Candy Canes By sharing your creations, you bring joy to many. Not only to those who follow your instructions and make them but also to the many many people Young and Old who see them. Merry Christmas 🎅 🤶 🎄 PS. Your instructions and presentations are Excellent !!!
Thank you so much for this sweet and kind comment. I love being able to share my creations so that others can create wonderful holiday decorations as well. Merry Christmas to you and your family
I want to thank you for writing these children’s books, I bought both of them for my great grandson and he loves them. They teach children to be a good caring person and they keep there interest. Also I want to thank you for your service, we couldn’t have a wonderful country without people like you. And last but not least I love the content of your videos, everything you build is astounding no matter the subject.❤
Awesome! Yet another idea for my yard!! My yard is going to be full of your diy’s’ so thank you! Think you can make lighted giant snowflakes for the roof??
Oh thank gosh, someone smart enough to put the supply list in the description. That wins me over. I just subscribed. A big hello from the Black Hills of South Dakota 👋. Your snowman will fit in nicely here, so far 6 inches and counting. It started early this morning. I love your snowman ☃️☃️. Merry Christmas to you and your love ones! 🎄🎄
Could you send us some snow here in North Carolina? I would love to have 6 inches of snow covering my yard! I try to make it as easy as possible for the viewer so including a supply list is a must! Thank you so much for being here and I hope you like my upcoming videos!
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY well you're entirely welcome. It was my pleasure watching your video. So well done and you gave so detailed instructions. Very informative makes even me feel like I could make it. We got a total of 6.7 inches of fluffy white cotton candy snow, that day. Not good snowman material. It melted enough the next day to put a crust on it so it shouldn't blow away and is here to stay a while fore it's not warming up till next week. We had a strong north wind come in the other night, so your snow is on its way if it don't peter out before it gets there, that's a long ways away. You get snow there or is that only in the mountains? If you could figure out a way to make some like those big ski resorts do, you'd be in like Flynn. ☃️🌨️🌨️❄️⛄ Blessings 💕
Just found your channel. My children are grown and I don’t have grandchildren yet. However your book looks so darn cute I bought it anyway. I’m looking forward to getting it this week.
Thank you so much for this awesome and sweet comment. I have the biggest smile on my face right now. Thank you so much for the support. It’s a super cute and wholesome book ☺️☺️☺️
Omg love this guy! Funny cuz your first snowman video was the first video of yours I found! This is great. I love the addition of the lights and the buffalo snow!
I am so excited to find this video.Tomorrow is Snow Day at our spring Break Camp. The kids, myself and our staff will be building this as our main project. Followed by a visit from Olaf. This will be a display for our winter decorations inside our Roller Rink for years to come. The kids will love remembering how they helped build this.
Also I may have missed it I’m new. Have you thought about or made a gingerbread house or any silhouette cutouts? I’m dying to have either or both and would love to see what you’ve come up with. I’m a new diyer/crafter/builder. My husband passed away at 38 and life has radically changed. The puzzling through and trying to learn a new skill has helped keep my mind busy allowing me to cope in a healthier way. I get so much enjoyment from finishing a project and knowing I did it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and creativity. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that you are to the point (unlike me ha!) and so concise and clear in your directions. You really couldn’t explain it any clearer and go slow enough that I don’t have to hit pause and backtrack to catch it. Can’t wait to binge watch the rest of your videos.
I’m glad I could bring a little bit of joy to your day, I’m sorry to hear about your husband‘s passing. I’m sure it has been hard on you. Some of my projects may seem daunting but I try to break it down in ways that are manageable. Some of my projects can be pricey and I feel I should start making more of them that are budget friendlier. I need to start brainstorming
The loc tite insulation foam at wal mart is white and has a better finish to it. Just made a giant string of "popcorn" garland with red Christmas balls for the cranberries for my fence!!
Thank you for sharing that. Popcorn garland, how very cool. Would you mind saying how you attached the Christmas balls? I'm already in way over my head this year but this is too good to pass up.
Awesome Snowman! Let's say your neighbor wanted to buy it what would it sell it for? How would you store it after the holidays! Merry Christmas and God Bless you! Good luck with your book!
This is awesome! But they do make some expanding foam that stays white and expands larger for more coverage and less material needs. You snow man is really amazing! Looks vintage even. Thank you for the idea
Love this!! At first I wasn’t so sure…..but then when you put on the Buffalo snow blanket on, I was in love ⛄️ And I just purchased your book. It looks so cute!!! I’m hoping my brand new nephew will love it 🦇🫒
Trust the process is what I always say lol And oh my goodness! Thank you so much for purchasing it! I hope the nephew does like it. That’s so great that you purchased it☺️☺️☺️

Isaac, thank you for sharing your talents and creativity with us! My husband and I found your gingerbread men video last night, and we are hooked! We are now rethinking our decor this year, and trying to figure which of your creations we’re going to crank out next weekend. I was feeling so uninspired this year, but not anymore!!!!
I definitely have to get your book to read to my grandkids! I’m sure that even my older grandkids will love it. It looks like it’s going to be pretty good so I hope you plan on writing more.
What a great idea! I've used both expanding foam and buffalo snow for different projects, so this is right up my alley. Thanks so much for sharing it! Now I need to investigate all of your videos because I am a huge Halloween fanatic. Once the decorations come down (any day now; we leave them up for awhile), then the Christmas decorations immediately go up . . . and we do up Christmas decor with the same enthusiasm as Halloween. 🎃🎄🤩
hi, Beth here, thank you so much, so excited i love all these creations, so cute. I'm going to try the cotton candy and the lolly pops, my daughter will love them,
Hi Isaac, I LOVE this snowman!! You are so creative! I do have a couple of questions....1. where did you find the larger beachballs? I haven't had much luck finding them here in Indiana. 2. Is the Snowman waterproof? How will the snow or rain effect it? I am not lucky enough to have a covered front porch so mine will have to be able to withstand the weather. Thank you so much for all you great ideas but most of all Thank you for your service.
COULD NOT FIND BEACH BALLS! During this time of year it is impossible to find beach balls unless you order them online so I found a pretty creative and effective alternative to the beach balls! I simply purchased some very very large black yard bags and stuffed them as tightly packed as I could with dried leaves then used packaging tape to shape the bags tightly packed full of dry leaves into gigantic circulars snowman pieces. He is not quite 7 ft tall but he is right at 6 ft tall and I'm very surprised with how well it turned out! I just want to say thank you so much for the inspiration you did a fantastic job and I have saved all of your videos for future tutorials!
thanks for your service my brother is a veteran he was in the air force. can make me a snowman and mail it to my house lol i love your work my favorite holiday is Halloween also
Another great tutorial! Unfortunately I’m just now seeing it so going to try to rush to buy items listed & start working on today in hopes of having it ready to add to display in our yard this year. Can’t tell you how helpful the clear detail and instruction you give in your videos is for me. The lists you provide of the items you use is a huge plus since it takes care of the need for trying multiple brands for projects to figure out what works. Have watched so many great tutorials you have out for Halloween & Christmas so far & wanted to ask about the durability of the projects you make for use in future seasons as well as any suggestions or pointers you may have for storage since the ones we’ve made so far have turned out pretty big (which was a huge plus for us!) Thanks again for another great video!
So happy you were able to find my channel and that you like my tutorials. I hope you’re able to complete this project rather quickly. Thank you so much for your kind words and compliments, I aim to make my tutorials as easy as possible and I love what I do! I have 3 sheds that I built for holiday storage. I also have a walk in crawlspace, 2 attics and under the deck storage that I use for all my holiday storage needs. therefore, storage has never been a problem for me so I would be the worst person to ask about storage lol All the projects I make our weather resistant and I use them year after year. They do great in wet weather or even snow. I must admit though that we get very light snow here and nothing too intense
I love❤ this it is so cute! Jolly good job👍 FYI hair pins or floral pins should keep the lights from sliding front & sides but would still use the duck tape on back.
That looks great. I always love display items like this that have lights in or on them in some way, and not rely just on a spotlight type of lighting. It may have been asked already in the comments, as I did not read through all of them, but how weel does that snow blanket batting cover hold up in rainy weather? Thanks, and keep up the great work.
My apologies for the slow reply. We have wet winters here in North Carolina. When it rains it gets a bit matted but once the sun comes out it dries and is back to being fluffy
Hey Isaac, OMG!!! My absolute "favorite" so far, that is!!! But then again, I love all your designs!!!! Christmas is the best time of the year to decorate in my opinion, because your surrounded by family, friend's and love one's!!! My mom passed away on Christmas Eve 2020 from Alzheimer's, so needless to say Christmas can be difficult at times for me!!! However Christmas was my mom's and my favorite holiday!!! Thanks so much for bringing a "smile" to my face with your adorable snowman!!!! I live in Charlotte also!!! Wishing you a "Very Merry Christmas"!!! ⛄🎄🎅🦌
Thank you so much for this heartfelt and sweet message. I’m sorry that you lost your mother. That’s got to be so hard and on such an important day nonetheless. I’m glad I was able to bring a smile to your face, may the memory of your mother live on in the spirit and beauty of Christmas
OMG! this is so cool I am going to try and make some of these along with other decorations from your other videos I appreciate you showing how to make these thank you
Love that idea you could make a whole family. The guy from Deadthingsyardhaunts did that for pumpkins a few years back they turned out pretty good. I think you could use this idea for a Santa also.
Your ideas are fantastic. I started watching your Halloween tutorials a few weeks ago. For this one, I'm interested to see if there will be any dirt and debris that may get caught in the snow blanket on a windy day.
So glad to have you here enjoying the tutorials. The snow blankets will get dirty if placed directly on the ground. Splashes from rain/dirt and flying leaves may get caught in it. Thankfully it’s easy to remove any dirty snow and replace it by gluing more snow onto it.
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY I started into programmable seasonal lighting last year using WLED and hopefully a Falcon controller next year. I'd love to build some of your projects and incorporate this lighting into them.
This is adorable! I also have your book in my cart. I will order when I finish my online shopping. It will be a Christmas gift for my granddaughter who turns 2 in Dec. It looks really cute.
Suggestion: Spray the Buffalo Snow with Scotchgard after application. That stuff gets filthy with ease.
The snowman looks great!

Soooo kewl, but would love to know how the snow blanket holds up in rain and snow!🤷♀️
I was wondering the same thing.
It holds up just fine. I’ve used it before on other creations. It gets wet and when the sun comes out I dries. I also state that at min 0:45
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY thanks!🙂
Same @isaac if the snow got dirty and moldyish, we could just remove and replace? The body of the main snowman should withhold weather conditions.
Hi Isaac! Fantastic creation. ☃️⛄️☃️ Quick question, approximately how many bags of the snow blanket did you wind up using? Thanks again! 👍🏻☃️

Another great creation!
Thank you!!
Great video! Contemplating wrapping the balls in lights then foaming or going with what you did. Not sure how muffled the lights would be
I think the issue would be the muted effect. Foam is very dense and you would lose the majority of the brightness.

I definitely have to get your book to read to my grandkids! I’m sure that even my older grandkids will love it. It looks like it’s going to be pretty good so I hope you plan on writing more.
Awesome! U are so artistic!
Thank you so much Patti!
Looks like he is ready to explode snowflakes all over the place 😄😄
Oh he exploded alright
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY Urrrrr 🤣🤣😈😈
hi, Beth here, thank you so much, so excited i love all these creations, so cute. I'm going to try the cotton candy and the lolly pops, my daughter will love them,
Great video, man. Cheers on your book.
Thank you so much, Rafael! Appreciate that
Hi Isaac, I LOVE this snowman!!
Keep doing more creative diy I love them all I review! I get inspired and I learn new cafts thank you
Thank you very much. Merry Christmas to you. He is super stunning and looks easy peasy. Going for supplies.
Ugh another beautiful creation!!!💙😍
Thank you so much ! ❤
Genius. This is so adorable.
Thank you so much !
From Bristol, TN we thank you so much!
That’s actually a great idea! Thank you for this tip!
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY thank you! I wish I could show you the pics of the finished snowman!
I'm so glad I found your UA-cam channel I'm sharing it with all my family around the world and I'm going to try to make your snow ☃️
Thank you so much ! 😊 let it snow!
thanks for your service my brother is a veteran he was in the air force. can make me a snowman and mail it to my house lol i love your work my favorite holiday is Halloween also
Thanks man! Appreciate the kind comments. I wish I could send you one ⛄️
Thank you this has given me some ideas for this Christmas on decorating
I love❤ this it is so cute! Jolly good job👍 FYI hair pins or floral pins should keep the lights from sliding front & sides but would still use the duck tape on back.
Can't wait to start this one next week 😊😊
That looks great. I always love display items like this that have lights in or on them in some way, and not rely just on a spotlight type of lighting. It may have been asked already in the comments, as I did not read through all of them, but how weel does that snow blanket batting cover hold up in rainy weather? Thanks, and keep up the great work.
My apologies for the slow reply. We have wet winters here in North Carolina. When it rains it gets a bit matted but once the sun comes out it dries and is back to being fluffy
This is great. Thank you for sharing.
I just love your work.
@@IsaacAlexanderDIY I really appreciate your message to me, beautifully said!!! Thank you so much!!!
OMG! this is so cool I am going to try and make some of these along with other decorations from your other videos I appreciate you showing how to make these thank you
This snowman is just perfect!!! I've been following you from day one and your designs and work just keep getting better and better!!!
Thank you so much Tommy, I appreciate your support. Glad you’ve stuck around for the journey
Love that idea you could make a whole family. The guy from Deadthingsyardhaunts did that for pumpkins a few years back they turned out pretty good. I think you could use this idea for a Santa also.
I made an animatronic Santa last year
Your ideas are fantastic.
Do you think black spray paint will work on the branches also?
Yes indeed it will definitely work
I LOVE him!!! Good job.
Another genius tutorial, thank you Isaac! My favorite holiday DIY guy!
Thank you so much ! glad to have you here
Hes so cute!
He is indeed !😊
