I love how friendly they are with each other. Joe Kovacs fouled at his biggest throw but he was congradulating Tom Walsh with a smile. This is so precious.
Why don’t they show all the competitors????? They do this for every competition they upload! I can’t be the only one who actually wants to watch every competitor... Also they don’t show every...Heat (is that what they are called?) which annoys me! I want to see it all!!!!
Yeah, I feel bad for him. Similar thing happened to me throwing discus in my sophomore year of Highschool. I was averaging around 105 ft that year. I bombed one out past 135 but just like Kovacs, my foot barely brushed over the top of the ring.
Kovacs actually, not Walsh, in another vedio they showed slow motion of the throw and in it we clearly see that he touched the upper part of the stopboard
Sandy Combs if you are talking about Kovacs throw if you put it in slow mo it is clear that he hits the upper part of the toe board, I am actually amazed at what a good referee that was
@Elias Håkansson Totally right. I didn't see it at first but then when I went back and watched it, I saw that he just clipped the top of the toeboard. Sucks for Kovacs
Played it back four times at quarter speed he didn't touch the board and was robbed. Good thing it wasn't a important meet, just the world championship.
@Hagbard Celine How can a correct call be bullshit? Sucks that that throw was scratched, but he stepped on the toeboard and those officials have to be able to see that. Think of the shitstorm if the official didn't see that and Kovacs won the comp on an illegal throw.
''Can you feel the ground beginning to shake? The big boys are coming out for the shot put final'' Awesome intro

st00g3y agreed
Crazy how the ref saw that Kovacs fouled that last throw, I had to watch it 3 times and slow it down to see it

Because they don’t cater to individuals, it’s just highlights. You should google the flight or look elsewhere.

They did damn well to catch that final round foul from Kovacs.
Yeah, I feel bad for him. Similar thing happened to me throwing discus in my sophomore year of Highschool. I was averaging around 105 ft that year. I bombed one out past 135 but just like Kovacs, my foot barely brushed over the top of the ring.
The first man that they looked for after claimed gold medal is their coach.
I love Tom Walsh!
It's the "these big men really like each other" for me😭😭
How on earth was Walsh’s disqualified on that last throw? His foot didn’t even touch the line.
CheeseMaster27 he pulled it away from his neck to early
Kovacs actually, not Walsh, in another vedio they showed slow motion of the throw and in it we clearly see that he touched the upper part of the stopboard
CheeseMaster27 no he crossed slow it down and watch
CheeseMaster27 his foot was on the toe board

This competition is a joke compared to Doha 2019 World Champs.
aren't they all compared to the greatest shot put competition ever?
nearly every competition is a joke compared to what they threw at Doha....they were dropping bombs.

Bro he didn’t even touch the board. Kovacs never brushed the board. Freaking refs man
Nah he did. Slow it down and its very clear he touches the top of the board
He touched it.
Played it back four times at quarter speed he didn't touch the board and was robbed. Good thing it wasn't a important meet, just the world championship.
Dude its incredibly clear that he actually did touch the top of the board...
