Hey Ichika, I'm 17. My dad passed away in 2021 and loved to play guitar, and I still remember showing him some of your shorts on youtube. We didn't have a whole lot in common but we both loved your videos and how beautiful you make the instrument sound. I still have his strat and classical guitar sitting beside me at my desk, and I wanted to say thank you for the memories, they're treasure to me now. The only "modern" band I could get him into was System of a Down, and I legit started to tear up during your cover of Toxicity.
I can feel that ... I still have my dad's Wittnauer wristwatch/stopwatch from his race car driving days the 1940s. With not much in common it's the only thing I have left. It's good you have this beautiful music to remember him by. Peace to you.
I keep coming to this video, and every time I find a new comment here! The gift he left behind is very precious, don't lose it! I hope this doesn't sound forced but if you can, let the instrument live its life in peace ;) which is by playing it and putting your hard work and emotion into it!
That's great that you got to connect with your father through music. I love how certain songs can preserve memories. What a great way to let him live on in your heart.
The technical proficiency is one thing but the knowledge of the instrument this guy has is incredible. That's what I'm most envious of tbh. Might be the best player I've seen.
It’s one thing to understand music theory. It’s another to embody it..on 1 form of instrument no less. I’ve appreciated Ichika since he first began uploading and I didn’t think it was possible to get better. Once in a lifetime guitarist. Even when compared to contemporary guitarists and musicians, his grasp on musicality and holistic approach is just unparalleled
I love to listen to ichika's playing without staring at the monitor. And I always found out that although ichika is playing it fast he's also taking care of the details very carefully.
I love every piece I've heard, and while the light and ethereal bits are absolutely gorgeous, something about the heavier rock-inspired and metal adjacent runs gives me chills every time.
I love how even after all these years, ichika still includes a bell is not a bell, which sounds just as fresh and breathtakingly beautiful today as it did when it first came out. I genuinely believe it is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever played on guitar, and should be held with such reverence for decades to come.
I would love an anime that's just filled with his songs, maybe about a loner who no one likes at school because he's quiet and strange, but one of his classmates finds playing alone by himself and they fall in love through there shared love of music.
Same! I am literally getting a guitar because of Ichika Nito and Tim Henson, they're so inspiring. I may never be as good as them, but they have sold me on the fun factor of guitar.
I would guess that you are from another planet, just amazingly smooth. No one, even Scarlatti does music like this. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only just discovered this channel a few months ago and from my view you seem to have have absolutely mastered the guitar. I'm curious, does a person at your level of skill still find new things to learn about the guitar at this point?
the video with him playing the guitar with one finger is by far the best. I dont even care its one finger it has a lovely rythm and isnt as random as most of his music.
Ever heard the story? A young musician was introduced to the greatest guitar player ever and was awestruck. He said "I would give everything I have to play like that." The master just looked at him with a hint of sadness and replied "I did".
im so upset i never got to see your show in london 😢 i didn't have the time because my birthday was the day after and i had stuff to prepare i hope everyone who was there had great time
In my humble opinion, you are the best guitarist in the world currently. Maybe that max ostro dude is up their but you are the yngwie malmstern of our generation.
Ichika creates a divide in me. He makes me want to take my guitars and throw them in a fire and give up, but he also makes me want to do nothing but practice.
I don’t even play guitar but I still watch this dude for inspiration
I was the same back then
me too😂
Real
I play violin and same lol
Me except i do play guitar

Do you ever play his guitars?

Proverbs 23:17 - Let not your heart envy sinners: but be in the fear of the LORD all the day long.
You can feel the instrument talking to you.
@@UniteAgainstEvilits not that deep 😭☠️ thx tho
@@UniteAgainstEvilwait is this satire 😂😂
Ichika, you are the only person that encourages me to practice and also give up at the same time. That's hard work!
😂😂😂 You’re not alone my friend . Keep practicing!
It's amazing to see how more talented he became throughout the years
It's not talented, it's called hard working, 12 hours of practice a day.
@@Zero_Tzdo you understand how talents work
@@Zero_Tz Fr
@@shugo1047uh yeah, so its just skill, not talent, bros been playing since 14
@@LizordSword a talent is not a skill. Talent is an innate ability. Skill is something that you practice and work hard to get greater at.

Nothing but bangers, brought to you by Ichika Nito the greatest guitarist on youtube
That may start a fight but agreed
bernth has the most technical skill in my experience
@@theyescapedtheweightofdarknesshe is awesome too! But I still think ichika is the number one.
What about Tim Henson?
I love to listen to ichika's playing without staring at the monitor. And I always found out that although ichika is playing it fast he's also taking care of the details very carefully.
The first video in this compilation was the one that bring me into Ichika's stuff, and i love it, just like all the music he does
Same lol I screen recorded it and downloaded the audio😭 it’s so good
His best guitar videos are every single video he’s put out.
Ichika Nito is legendary. Nothing but love here.
楽器が何であれ、Ichikaさんの音楽の表現はとても美しい。
youre so insanely talented Ichika. Please never stop making sweet melodies for all to hear
That sweeping harmonic bit was the most impressive use I’ve seen of natural harmonics, it’s really inspiring to hear him olay
There's something about the recitation at 5:35 that uplifts my being.
@Dm-On-Tele.gram-Ichika_Nito2
This is bait children.
Ikr, I wish I could hear a full song version
Why didn't he compile every single video on his channel?! Every single guitar video on this channel is a masterpiece!!

ichikaさんの音楽マジですこ
What an interesting retrospective, highlighting disparate styles and instruments. Very impressive. 🌈💜🇺🇸
My favorite guitarist
🎸Ichika Nito, your guitar skills are out of this world! 🌏
10 minutes and 34 seconds of an ethereal experience
I love every piece I've heard, and while the light and ethereal bits are absolutely gorgeous, something about the heavier rock-inspired and metal adjacent runs gives me chills every time.
love to see all of these again... the 1st one and arpeggio are my favorite!
this video gives me a feeling i literally cant describe, but it feels so good.
You make me cry
So beautiful.
Theres liking music.. maybe even loving music.
But feeling it run through your soul.
This is beautiful and stunning. I love all of them. 🤩 Couldn’t help but dance along.
Bro can make the most metal guitar in existence sound like absolute heaven. Stunning
The way he bobs in the first video brings me an ungodly amount of joy
Itchiko...no words for your level of skill. Speaks VERY clearly for itself. Thank you for allowing the world the privilege of watching you at work.
I find all of the ones on your channel to be the best
This video should be approximately 1000 hours long.
Лучшего гитариста я не слышал! А он есть?... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Can’t get enough of the clip starting at 5:36. Goddamn
One of the few people on youtube who sound completely unique.
Legends say he still plays clean to this very day.
Wow. Watching your hands and hearing the sound blows my mind
I love how even after all these years, ichika still includes a bell is not a bell, which sounds just as fresh and breathtakingly beautiful today as it did when it first came out. Wow! I wasn't expecting to hear Toxicity in this compilation!
(I was hoping for the "Only One Finger" song. It is my favorite)
I was hoping for some 2015 metal clip with 240p quality 😞
Please play more metalcore bro! Some of the prettiest metal riffs ive ever heard. 😢
I would love an anime that's just filled with his songs, maybe about a loner who no one likes at school because he's quiet and strange, but one of his classmates finds playing alone by himself and they fall in love through there shared love of music.
Great compilation!

Ichika inspires me with every video ♥️
I’ve been playing the guitar for 40 years. I can’t imagine playing on neck that thick.
Hard work man is an understatement. Dudes a GENIUS
Greatest guitarist on UA-cam
Can you imagine how much of a bear that big guitar is to tune up?
It's sort of a mini-piano!
Great job and great use of your talents! 👍👍
Even with a tuner it would take half a day! 😂
youre making me want to learn how to play the guitar
Same! I am literally getting a guitar because of Ichika Nito and Tim Henson, they're so inspiring. I may never be as good as them, but they have sold me on the fun factor of guitar.
I know many guitarists who hate virtuosity, but the essense is : music. And I hear you making music ! Great stuff !
Just unbelievable❤🙉
I think my jaw droped....my brain froze ....stunned incredible first off how the heck can that instrument be played like that.💣💥 WOW!!
❤Legend in the making !!!!!!! 😮 holy shit !
I would guess that you are from another planet, just amazingly smooth. No one, even Scarlatti does music like this. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First ichika video i saw was the 2:27 clip. Was an instant fan
cool to see some of your older stuff here, fantastic
Now i wont have to choose which video to send to people. Thanks!
Beauty of tones.

Ichika, it's just mind blowing! You're wonderful!!
your videos give me life
Ever heard the story? A young musician was introduced to the greatest guitar player ever and was awestruck. He said "I would give everything I have to play like that." The master just looked at him with a hint of sadness and replied "I did".
I think I've had more endorphins released while listening to this than I have had for the entire collective rest of my life, up to this point. x.x;
6:32 to 7:34 gives me goosebumps everytime....sooo goood lol. Gives me circa survive vibes for some reason.
Personally for me, I enjoyed your acoustasonic guitar video that you did a while ago. It got me into your content
That nine string gives me mad doom vibes
後半のカバーのクオリティがえぐいっす
absolutely incredible work! his hands look like they teleport sometimes lmao
How is this possible ? Absolutely mindblowing !
I love listening to this so much!
My favorite video because it includes all my favorite songs by you
im so upset i never got to see your show in london 😢
i didn't have the time because my birthday was the day after and i had stuff to prepare
i hope everyone who was there had great time
Soothing.
I love his style of playing because depending on the sound and guitar the way he plays spunds like the music of a Japanese band eve and i love it ❤
一番最初のやつが自分の中で一番印象に残ってる。やばすぎるもんこれ
The System of a Down drum fill percussion on the nylon string is the most satisfying sound in existence.
The first video it's the best 😊
I wish I had this type of talent
Unreal! Amazing 💕🔥
level up ❤
This guy could make music for a video game and i would 100% complete it.
Here I was saving every video to a playlist when I could have just saved this.
Incredible compositions
Blue bass one !
In my humble opinion, you are the best guitarist in the world currently. Maybe that max ostro dude is up their but you are the yngwie malmstern of our generation.
play shamisen
Seeing this for first time..subscribed it..Lovely
0:01-1:01:😅music of my day stuck in my head😅
Ichika creates a divide in me. He makes me want to take my guitars and throw them in a fire and give up, but he also makes me want to do nothing but practice.
I wish there was a full song of the first clip with the million string guitar. it sounds so nice
Hmm, so basically his entire UA-cam channel?
