- Pleasantly surprised that there is still treasure to be found in some of my favorite parks! Don't believe them when they tell you its all hunted out
Love those seated dimes. Just found my first couple weeks ago 1876 CC
Wow, that's a nice first, congrats, happy hunting!
Hey Dave, I always enjoy your hunts. I was noticing in the beginning of your video, there is a big tree in the background. Boy that sure looks like an ancient Indian marker tree? Look at 0.28- 0.30,,
Could be! Place has been inhabited for a loooong time
Awesome hunt Dave. Thanks for the video. Have a good holiday season.
You as well Susan! Happy holidays
👍👍
Thanks Jillian!
DT in da house!!🙌🏻
Eyyy ty for watching!
A 1942 nickle comes in 3 varieties. P or S above Monticello are 35% silver. There was a 1942 without a mint mark that were made prior to composition change.
Wow, very good to know, glad I dug the right one
Hell yeaaa new video time! Happy holidays y’all!
You too brotha!
Hey Dave, nice you see you out and having more excellent success! Pretty certain I've hunted that park before- I was just in Newport a couple of weeks ago, at a different park. I don't typically hunt the woods and as such, never ventured up that hill into that area. The lead soldier was awesome and huge congrats for he Seated! Happy New Year!
That's funny, maybe we'll cross paths someday, still stuff out there! Happy new years
Hey Dave great hunt. Love the Lead Soldier. That's one of the coolest ones I've seen. Awesome 1911 Dog Tag. The N Relic that's a different find very cool. Congrats on your IHPs, War Nickle, 1919 Mercury Dime, and especially your Third 1877 Seated Dime. Those are really fun to find. Congrats on your other Relics to. If you have a chance check out Crazie Digging. December has been an unbelievable month for me. I found a once in a lifetime Silver Spill and one week later I did the unthinkable. A Coin everyone would love to find. Take Care Dave. Merry Christmas to you and your good luck charm.
Thanks Crazie, I'll check it out! Always interested in a juicy silver spill, merry Christmas to you and yours
Great place to hunt! Coingratulations on the 1875 dime.😎 Grid search it good.
Thanks! Fun finding stuff in a place that gets mowed regularly lol
Seated dime at a public park! Dont see that too often. Well done. Any beach hunts coming up? From Newport to Tiverton is full of small beaches et al. On a different note the pre lim and renaissance worked good on the coins. Nice to have them preserved. Zeb
Glad to hear that wax worked out for you, might hit the beaches in a few days once the surges pass from the last big storm
why are you metal detecting a park in Rhode Island I thought you live in New Hampshire.
