- We revisited an incredible site that we had metal detected before to reveal tons of coins lost when the site was used for rallies in the late 1800s/ early 1900s and an amazing relic from the 1700s homestead that was originally there!

Awesome 👍 Those crotals are my favorite finds. Cleaning them out and hearing them ring for the first time in 100+ years. Cant beat that.

The metal detector I have is the vanquish 540 pro pack and I love it. I also bought the battery pack for it supposed to give u 30 hrs of hunting.

The little box at 9:10 reminds me of old Aspirin tins, many other brands such as St-Joseph or Anacin... Darn, not mentioned at the clean up :-(. Thanks for the adventures :-)

That's a great site man, just littered with tremendous coins and relics- that LC was so thick, was hoping for a 17xx coin. Plus you got to play the One Dime game twice- nice hunt!

I only hunt in winter as I don't like bees. Snakes I don't mine but bees I don't like.

in the 1800's farmers would punched a hole in the coin and give it to their wife as a coin necklace or Jewelry.

Can I ask how do you clean your old coins?
Usually just a light scrub with a soapy toothbrush, then let dry fully before scraping off any caked on dirt with a toothpick
